I know this time of year can be hard for some of us, so I hope this video is able to bring comfort where needed.

What is ASMR?
ASMR stands for: Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. This is just a fancy name for a tingly or calming sensation caused by different sounds/visuals that we call "triggers". Most people have their favorite type of "triggers" that help cause the sensation. Whether it be visual like lights moving, hand gestures etc. or sounds such as whispering, soft speaking, tongue clicking and more. ASMR typically will cause a tingly sensation in people that starts at the head and moves down the neck and to the shoulders. However, if you don't experience this sensation it doesn't mean ASMR isn't for you! ASMR is great for helping people calm down, de-stress, relax, helps with anxiety, depression, insomnia and so much more!!

I cried after watching this video. I struggle everyday with my mental health and there’s too many people that want to ruin people’s lives and traumatize them. I was a victim of domestic violence when I was a kid until social services put my dad out of my house when I was 14. After being separated from him, me and him were on good terms until he died this month 5 years ago. I cried for 2 hours after being told that he died. It was one of the hardest days of my life and that’s when my world was upside down. It still kinda is because I feel like I make everyone dislike me because of my anger issues. So far I’m doing a little bit better and feeling stronger as I go

My grandpa passed away 6 years ago and he was one of the few people I could trust. My family always reminds me that he's my guardian angel now, and this video made me cry. Thank you so much

I started tearing up about 7 minutes in, but the good kind. I've been struggling with ADHD, depression and mild anxiety for my whole life. I'm also dealing with my anger issues on to of all that. Sometimes I feel like no one understands what im going through. I feel like they don't know so they say, " Oh you'll be fine. Just suck it up. Be a man", without even knowing what Im going through. I also have the pleasure of being a sophomore in high school, so that's hell, even without any social problems. This video helped me finally feel loved and cared for, so thank you for this. It really means a lot.
This had me happy and crying at the same time. This hit VERY close to home. I was born with autism and was/still am discriminated against for being different. I always felt like I could never be myself cause people either thought I was weird or an idiot. I haven't really made a friend since middle school and have always been lonely but too scared to put myself out there. But this video is starting to remind me that I'm not alone, and neither is any of us. So thank you Shanny for reminding me 😃 😊

I have to come back on here and say that this video was life changing for me and I’ve been seeing good days that I’ve never seen before. ASMR has really changed my life over a year of watching. I also feel like this video taught me a lesson about letting people get to me and upsetting me, but now I just laugh and make a fool out of them. As this year is coming to an end, I hope to have the best times of my life and get more opportunities than I had before. I’m so glad that I discovered ASMR

So far, life has thrown a lot at me: started life poor, mental health problems, PTSD from abuses at school, no meaningful long-term interpersonal relationships throughout life because I can't trust people the same way I did as a kindergartener, enlistment in the army, losing the one girlfriend I ever had in my last week of boot camp... I could go on. It takes a lot to remind myself to put one boot in front of the other some days. A litter affirmation like this when I put my head down for the night is good help.

This not only reminded me of your angel vs demon video, but this one really was touching to me, mainly because I've been hearing about so many actors passing away these last few weeks and it's been sad hearing about them. Just today I found out that the actor that played James Trivette on Walker Texas Ranger just passed away, and as a fan of the original show, that made me a little sad today. But this video helped heal my sadness a little bit and made me feel a little bit better. I think my favorite part was the Bible verses. I just now came across this video, and I really needed to hear all these words, because I lost my grandpa last year, and I struggle with a big amount of stress and high amounts of anxiety. I suffered my very first big panic attack in the year of 2021 due to a big fear of covid, and today I still fear it. It has gotten so bad that I basically wash my hands everyday and I still wear my mask when I go out. But I rarely leave the house due to this fear and stress and anxiety. Not to mention I suffer from multiple disabilities. I really thank you for this Video Shanny from the bottom of my heart. ❤️
