I also bought the expansions and the Necromancer character so I've got 8 characters to choose from and hundreds of hours of playtime ahead of me. Time to go adventuring! 😅
This is honestly the best playthrough I’ve seen of Euthia. Well edited, quick to the point and still very educational - I feel like I can start playing right away even without reading the rules. So do you think it’s worth getting the expansion in the new ks campaign? I’m curious if it’s similar to mage knight, where the base game was really cool, but volkare took it up to a whole new level. I pretty much always play with volkare now as it gives more of an end goal feeling with more tension.

Let me do one small comment about a small insignificant mistake: 1:13:46 You should gain sapphire gem instead of water essence, but it did not take any effect on the game as you sold it later and the selling price for the gems and essences are the same 😉
This game looks so cool! Btw, in round 3 with the venomous spider attack, you forgot to increase the intervention die (around 56:00) guess it wouldn't have made a difference in the game, but just thought I'd mention it
What a fun game and quite straightforward in the way you manipulate the dice, compared to say Sword and Sorcery, which I only know from your review! It almost is more like Roll Player in the way that you manipulate the dice during the battle and the equipment you buy looks similar. Many thanks for doing the demo - it really helps in making a decision as to what game to buy!
That is such a great point, hadn't thought of that! Now that you say it, it does give you a bit of Roll Player vibe. I do really like the Gaar tokens as well as it mitigates your bad luck with re-rolls PLUS an auto plus 2. I think they did a great job with that. Thanks so much for watching and commenting!

Very torn on this game, it's the first 'big game' that's really tempting me in quite a while. I like that it's not very complicated and seem to offer a great adventure. But it's pricey and not sure how easy it would be to get to the table! Any chance of another playthrough cause yours are the best :)

I know this is 2 years too late. But you showed the bear attacking twice for 3 points each time. if your health was at 7, then wouldnt that mean it should be at 1. then potion usage would brought you to a 3?
That game looks incredible! I got Mage Knight for Christmas after obsessing over your playthroughs. I was talking about it every day. Finally when I had decided to buy the last copy it was sold out when I got there. It was the last copy in Iceland. I was pretty mad. Just to find out on Christmas that my girlfriend had gotten the last copy for me. Now, I really want to get Euthia. I am thinking if I should wait for another kickstarter of expansion if one is coming out soon. Thanks for this playthrough. It is really enjoyable watching you go through these games.
Thanks for this video, this is great. You are so good at explaining games in a casual way. I did notice that when you got the boots, you didn't raise your HP or Max HP though! You cheated yourself (maybe you figure this out later - I'm still watching)
great tutorial as always. Theme wise it has a similar vibe as MK but mechanically it is so different that I don't understand why everybody is comparing it to MK... Maybe it's just my perception...
Great play through. You should have tokens for the air and earth elementals. Love the “reminder” tokens in this game. I’ve played 5 or 6 times now and every game is different. So glad I was able to get a copy. Also, the organizer is a must.
@@OneStopCoopShop for all that content I had a feeling it wasn't going to be cheap - but if it's got long term re-playability that's a bonus. However, there is sooooo much stuff and space it would take up is a bit overwhelming and for some off putting.
Ok, so I was listening along while working and heard you say the game comes with some kind of mystical mitigation mechanic called Cheese Intervention...I had to stop, rewind and pay better attention. I was disappointed to see it wasn't actually cheese 😂

Thanks, good playthrough video. This is the 2nd I've watched for this game, and definitely the most clear and concise. Honestly though, I don't see the appeal of this game ... and I'm usually a very easy sell. I know it's very highly rated on BGG, I just don't get it.

Nope but certainly different and more locations to explore I think. Less of a move optimization puzzle but more randomenss with the dice than with Mage Knight. To me you can have both! At least I do!
