Im very creative, comfortable with technology, and love workig independently BUT im not very competent with complex math, so systems engineer definitely doesnt seem like its for me, but im extremely interested in web/app development. Depends on what "not that good" means. But since coding is the tool for development, I'd say go and improve those skills. It's like trying to become an author without being able to write.

can switch anytime, easy to land a job at decent company doing same old html css etc.. but really getting to the depths takes 10-11 years just like you must have reached in photography.. very few people reach those depths though.. most retire and never understand software design in depth.
@@sheriffcrandy In games and stuff, sure. Not so much when it comes to earning money. But after the 8 month I would change my statement in the way that I mainly dislike the fact that programming is becoming more and more a "lucrative business" instead of something some nerds get really passionate about. Of course it is natural with the ever growing demand in jobs, but I just find it sad that the "spirit" of programming is getting lost more and more.
@@Shikigami6 I don't think there should be any exclusivity to the profession. Programming is pretty challenging and if you have the mental fortitude to learn how to make cool programs and understand algorithms I say welcome aboard
@@sheriffcrandy Of course it is nothing that "should" be.
