Will the new atom work with the atom se battery & controller? I already have the SE, was just wondering if I could upgrade by just buying the drone only & use the same batteries, hub & controller from the SE.
I was wondering the same. I heard the batteries will work. Are you seeing a drone only option somewhere ? I am not seeing that to buy.
Yes, the batteries are compatible. I read in in the comments of some other video
The batteries and other accessories are interchangeable. But it will exceed 250g limits if you use the SE's battery on the ATOM
which means that the charger also works for both batteries?

How to know if the battery is charged?
Put the battery in the battery hub and click the button on the battery hub, the indicator will show the battery power status.:)

Mine came with 2 micro cables and no usb c cable. The controller also won't expand enough to span my cheap $100 Walmart phone.

I've got this drone and when the gimbal is pointing directly down at 90 degrees, when you move forward or backwards it flicks up to 80%
Does anyone else's do this? Or is mine faulty?

Will there be filters for the camera ?
ive had this drone for about 2 weeks now. i haven't had any issues with it. I've been fairly hard on it and crashed it a lot. it still flies great. one of the legs broke but some super glue fixed it. i think this is a great drone for a beginner that wants to take pics or learn the basics of how to operate a camera drone.

Hi, to ensure the safety in transit, the new batteries are set in Sleep Mode before shipment. Therefore, it is required to charge it to wake it up when receiving a new battery.
I got this nice little drony and I'm happy with the performance and picture quality...but not so happy with the fact, that I cant deactivate the automatic charging of my mobile phone, every time I connect it to the controller
Hi William, yes, the controller will charge the phone if the phone is not fully-charged, so we suggest to fully charge the phone before the flight. @@Potensic Hello! The battery should not be charged, as this does not correspond to a normal charging process. We are talking about the life expectancy of a battery, which is drastically reduced if it receives significantly more charging cycles than necessary. If I plan to fly the drone, I will NOT do so with a charge level of less than 40%(with the 5000mAH Battery of my Xiaomi that is enough for a hole day in normal uses!) ..life expactancy of a modern Cell Phone battery is abut 5-600 charging cycles... In addition, the charge level of the controller is also reduced...😉

@@lentner3 The battery of my Xiaomi has 5000mAh, a life expectation of round about 5-600 charging cycles (I charge it only every 2 days), which means the battery last´s 2-3 years...exactly the time I plan to have my Phone...I fly at least once a day, if the weather is fine even in the mornings and evenings (best weather we have in Andalusia!). So now you can calculate the charging cycles vs. Life expactation
Every iPhone has the posibility to deactivate charging when plugged in to USB...Android dont has that feature without routing the Phone. Market share of Android in Europe is 65% worldwide is 82,5%
What you do is up to you....obviously you are a part of those people who think they "need" at least 2 a year a new Phone...so you just give a toss to the battery life of your Phone...But than `please, dont spread Nonsense here! thanks...
