    Just a quick update.. it's been about 1 year since the repair and still no leaks. System responds to height adjustment within 10 seconds of selection. I am still very happy with the repair.

      Hey guys I know this is frustrating and hopefully I am not too late for some of you. It took me some atime but I think I got this. Follow this video but when you get into the WRITE THE SUSPENSION HEIGHT VALUES let the app read your truck sensors, then let your truck adjust its height and then STEP OUT FROM THE TRUCK AND MESAURE THE DISTANCE FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE WHEEL TO THE EDGE OF THE FENDER AND WRITE THIS VALUE FOR EACH SUSPENSION. After this your truck will adjust to its original height values, meaning this will adjust the normal, exit, off road 1 and off road 2 standard heights of your ECU System. Hope this works for you.

    Hey, just commented in Tim’s post. So, just wanted to let you know incase you have a similar issue in the future, and anyone else reading this. I just fixed mine in about 10 minutes for about 10 cents. I own my own big rig, so always carry a selection set of O-rings, cause it stops me getting stranded for the sake of a 10 cent o ring. My set goes from 7/32”x1/16” up to 11/16”x1/8”. Inside the Jeep fitting where the supply pipe fits in, is a little double thickness o ring. So, using a small hook tip screw driver I removed it. Then, using a set of tweezers I replaced it with 2 o-rings of the same diameter from my kit and voila! It fixed the leak. It’s a little fiddly getting the new ones in, but doable at home. The whole o-Ring kit cost about 15 bucks, so at worst, the two o-rings were 10 cents, if that. Hope that maybe helps some folks. I know a replacement part is only Fourty bucks, but I’m all about keeping costs down and refurbing if I can 😊

      Yea, I’m curious how long it will last too. From my trucking experience, I’ve never had an issue. When I’ve done replacements on the truck (three over the last 5 years) they’ve not failed again. Not sure if this being a nitrogen system will affect longevity of the new seals, but I guess time will tell.

    Sprayed windex on that plastic elbow and sure enough it was bubbling like crazy.
    * for others...... You can electric tape/zip tie it in a specific orientation so it does not leak ,just to buy yourself time for the part to arrive so you dont empty out the system. I found slightly twisting the elbow and compressing the connection stopped the bubbling.
    I love this air suspension but it makes you pretty vulnerable if.......when this stuff goes bad.

    I had same issues but worse. My JGC 2012 they replaced both fronts ( extended warrenty) then it started again. Went to different dealership they did same thing one year later. 5 months later same issue. I change the top elbows myself from the reference youtube vid. But still same issue. 1st Dealorship changes right front for 3rd time! $2000. Not fixed.I fight and argue as I turn wrenches independently when needed. However the Jeep will burn the compressor up if use. I let it sit. They offer and do change valving block.No fix. I said , take the fricking time and locate the air leak in the line someplace. They dont.
    Dealerships want to plug and play. Still leaking so now I am going to have to chase the damn leak myself. Hey Jeep reps.... screw your service and training ! That 2 stealorships I went to in different cities and both used the same ignorant protocol and could not facilitate the reasoning of continued leaks with all new suspension system ..TWICE.
    I'm out thousands of dollars. I'll fix the leak I will post for others so they dont give Jeep more money.

    were there any other symptoms beside the bumper sitting lower on the tire? noises or engine warnings/codes? was it low just on the drivers side or both?
    how did the soap blow bubbles if the engine was not running, is it just from the air in the system leaking constantly?
    from when you first noticed that the car sat lower on the left drive side tire, how long after did you repair the leak?
    it's hard to tell if mine is leaking - have no error codes and seems to be level, but am worried after loud thumping and inability to raise up for several minutes last winter on a 9 degree day.
    i also have a slight thumping that sounds like more right front passenger tire since it goes faster as i accelerate. also notice it turning right sometimes.
    wondering whether we would need to recharge/fill nitrogen for the system or not if more of a severe leak.

    • @wildoutside9333
      @wildoutside9333  3 роки тому +1

      When I purchased it... it already had the leak. Not sure how long it had been leaking) It always sat low in the front left when parked.. I noticed that the compressor ran a lot also( that was the main reason I decide to investigate what was wrong.)There were no codes. The lift system is a closed system, there is a nitrogen tank behind the back seat and the compressor pumps the nitrogen to and from the air shocks/bags.

    • @wildoutside9333
      @wildoutside9333  3 роки тому

      Not sure about the thumping... could be so many things.. loose mounting bolts for the strut, worn wheel bearing, bad cv joint, tire out of balance, belt separation in the tire to name a few..

    • @wildoutside9333
      @wildoutside9333  3 роки тому +1

      The crappy thing is that to diagnosis how much nitrogen is in the system, you have to take it to the dealer so they can running a program that calculates how much nitrogen is in the system.

    • @wildoutside9333
      @wildoutside9333  29 днів тому

      @leeanpropes4197 only way to know for sure would be to take it to the dealer, thay can run a diagnostic program that calculates the volume of nitrogen.
      However if after replacing that hose the jeep changes heights quickly you may be able to use it as is.

      It's possible the pump manifold is malfunctioning or the system is low on nitrogen. Unfortunately you either have to find someone that has the equipment to check the volume of the nitrogen in the system or have to take to a dealer. They can run a program to check the pump and the volume of the nitrogen. They supposedly check the volume of the nitrogen ,not the pressure. You can find the special connector for the reservoir tank online but you still have to find a way to measure the volume of the nitrogen.

      Hmm. It could be so many things.... height sensors at the wheels damaged or dislodged. Not enough volume of air in the storage tank.
