Why would you want d1 in d2, you'd either have a bunch of useless chase loot without vanity slots or gear that makes modern gear irrelevant
shadowstarthe1st the only thing in d2 that won't be in d1 when forsaken releases will be the old raids abs strikes because with them current content would take a back seat. In addition, strikes don't have two unique loots attached to them.

The game itself.
There are tons of files referencing future DLC. They were right leading up to CoO and Warmind. They were right referencing Cayde's death. They were right about bounties returning. It's safe to assume they're right in referencing old locations and future enemies.
HaloModder555 Actually those files might be referencing the DLCs in the annual pass and not Forsaken. We have yet to hear of that being in Forsaken

Well, The Taken King did it too. It had quests that occurred outside of the new Dreadnought destination. It's actually great that they're adding more to previous destinations in regards to Forsaken just like The Taken King did.
The Needless Priest, Adam Blade you know it is possible to allow those missions to be playable without buying previous dlcs...they just don't want to make it that way.
Brian Schaefer You're right. But then again, by them making a reply like that, you know there's definitely going to be additional missions added to Mars and Mercury concerning any after-story plotlines for Forsaken. Perhaps any previous destinations like Nessus and Earth as well.
Our fight was with Oryx, but the Taken War was an after-story plotline that you had the option of playing before killing Oryx in the King's Fall Raid. Or you could've just killed Oryx and then do those things which chronologically made no sense.
How would it be fair to anyone who bought the 2 previous DLC's when they found out that Bungie allowed all players to go on Mercury and Mars without buying the DLC like they did? To open Mars and Mercury to those who just bought Forsaken and didn't buy CoO or Warmind like many others did, would have those many others become extremely pissed. Thus as to why they expect anybody else to pay that much to play Forsaken. Because those who stuck with Destiny 2 already did.
$140 is an absurd price tag, but there's no other way around it by telling new or returning players that they don't have to buy the 2 previous DLC like many others did prior.
The Needless Priest, Adam Blade other games incorporate separate DLCs. Yes they can make those missions for the new dlc playable. Doesn't mean they have to be missions from the previous DLCs

Haha, those two are funny. Having fun is what it's all about . I started playing d1 last year then 6 months later d2 came out . I got d1 in its entirety for $30 I think . It was awesome . Now if a player starts playing d2 in September 2018 , it should blow their socks off. The other thing is the game evolves and I have faith in Bungie . I ve played many other games that don't have anywhere near the replayability as destiny. At least for me , as a gamer from the 70 s . I ve been enjoying the game as long as there's Good company on coms .

I absolutely love the God of War one, Monster Hunter World was also great, but this has significantly more actual questions than that. If you want actual info, I guess read their articles? I dunno, I'm not interested in Destiny at all anymore.
Oh that's hardly fair, there was a lot that jokingly-tough questions. They poked them about destiny 1 content, having to buy previous expansions before the new one, and about the xp business a few months ago, to name a few issues they mentioned. Though I'll give you the purely funny stuff was the majority, but i feel like that's the point.
I mean if you follow Bungie or the game at all most of the burning questions have been answered already. Also Game Informer are releasing a lot of info in their articles so why would they put it all in this video.
