i saw him live recentlly and if you ever get the chance i highly recommend you seeing him. his vocals are amazing live, his performance, apperance, and his overal personality with the crowd is the greatest. i will go again for sure. hands down amazing and talented person
I just saw him in Seattle, couldn’t agree more. It was an emotional, heartwarming, energetic incredible performance. Unbelievable night
AGREE 1000% BREANNA!! He was absolutely amazing live!! I took my sis & nephews (who had never heard his music before) and they ALL LOVED IT!! His show was probably ONE OF THE BEST I'VE BEEN TO EVER (I've been to 200+ shows). He beat out Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles (who I adore)--and they both put on wonderful shows.
i thought it was funny the music video had a little concert because the the first time i heard this song all the way through was at his show, and i just kept waiting for the music to pick up and the crowd to join in the video. really doesn’t compare now
seen him 4 times total since 2018 ! his stage presence and audience interaction !! 10/10
Ahhh I got to be in the video and he was such an absolute SWEETHEART! Incredibly kind and genuine, hearing the song finally released is so sick 🤘🏻 such a banger
I saw him in Chicago and he got a back injury the day before. The doctor told him not to perform, and in his words, “he is mentally unstable enough to not disappoint his fans”. 😂 He had to sit on a chair, but his vocals were still killer; and even though he had to leave to go to the hospital after an hour, it was still hands-down the best show I’ve ever been to. He was in so much pain that he drank almost a whole bottle of Jameson. 🤭Palaye Royale opened too and it was AMAZING.
I saw Yungblud and Palaye Royal opened for him in NYC too! Such amazing energy! It’s a shame he got injured but I’m not surprised he tried to power thru. A while back there was also a day he broken his foot during a concert and kept on going. He’s so dedicated to his fans ✨🖤✨
@@YayaIsSilly Honestly the highlight of the night was when we found taco trucks parked outside the venue (genius!) and we ran into Emerson. He was so nice! My friend made a playlist of Yungblud/Palaye/Poutyface for us to listen to, and I listened to it on my whole 7 hour drive. I told him that because I’m a new fan. He personally welcomed me to The Royal Council, hugged me, and we talked about art. I hadn’t seen his art before that...he was so humble about it, and when I saw it later I was absolutely floored. He also signed my Van Gogh card holder. ☺️
I really love the 80’s Billy Idol vibes that I get from this. I finally got to see him and he puts on great show, great crowd. He is just as adorable in person. I can’t wait to what he does next. 🖤🖤🖤
Bro I love yungblud so much, thank u Steven 🖤🖤
My 41 year old punk heart loves this song. I have loved everything he’s put out but this is my favorite, for now. He’s also made such an amazing community that 16 year old me would have been so excited about! I also was waiting for you to make a video about it! Thanks you didn’t disappoint!
Just saw him live and one of my favorite parts is him talking about how in this family you can be who you are, love who you want to love, and look how you want to look. I think I have replayed the video I got of him saying it at least once a day since the show because it does make those of us who are different not feel along and feel like we have a place we belong. He’s amazing.
Saw him live in doncaster last year and he was PHENOMENAL!! Also this song gives of big billy idol vibes
Went back home to Donny for thr gig last year too. It was awesome. I was up in the wheelchair section with my husband. My youngest and my niece were down the front.
It was a bloody great gig. He just has that something on stage. Bloody awesome.
I'm sure that this next album will be incredible, cause this is FIRE
Honestly Steve you need to go to his concert. The energy at his shows is unmatched. The tour he’s doing now with Palaye Royale and Charlotte Sands supporting was hands down the best show I’ve been too!
I never thought I would want a Billy Idol x MCR crossover song, but it's really good!
Also Billy Idol in the beginning and I was so frustrated being late to the party anyway and was like "Why does that sound familiar to me" HAHA I LOVE reactions for giving me the answers and I am sure you're connection to Songs before isn't any more right or wrong.
Oh thanks a heart I just saw that now. =)
Reminds me of "dancing with myself" by Billy Idol. - Certified banger as always from Yungblud.
This and Fleabag are FIRE, I need the damn album right now 😩
I was at his concert in Portland on March 11th on release day and saw Dom play for the first time live TWICE! It was so awesome to hear everyone singing it word for word. I'm so grateful I got a meet & greet with him (for the second time, the first being in 2019!) He was so excited for this song and it was so awesome to see how he's continued to grow over the past few years. While I miss the "exclusiveness" of his early years when hardly anyone knew him or his music, I'm so happy for him to finally get the recognition he deserves. I'm not his average fan being that I'm in my 40's, but while I was definitely the oldest there at his concert in 2019, there were people much, much older than me this time! I'm so proud of Dom and can't wait to see what he has in store for us later this year with his new music and extended tour! 😘 Much love to you Steven for all you do for all of us music lovers! You're awesome and I appreciate you so much! 🖤🖤🖤🖤
I was just abt to comment that we were the first to hear this livee!!!
Love this review! This song is about addressing all his insecurities because then he can't be affected when other people try and bring him down.
Please review fleabag that is also amazing!
Lots of love to the channel 💕💕
yungblud is such a mood
Steve, I totally understand when you said that music help you with your emotions. There is a quote I recently read: " Music feeds the hearts with what it needs in the moment".
So excited! Love when you react to YungBlud
I thought the same! It’s giving me The Cure and Billy Idol. I really love it! Plus, adding Ozzy is such a vibe.
I'm so excited for this reaction video! I love the song but I didn't watch the music video yet so I'm watching it with u for the first time now yay
i heard this song live before i heard it recorded, it just can not compete man. i kept waiting for the crowd in the video to scream the chorus
yes I immediately think of The Cure when listening to it for the first time!!
Thanks for the wonderfully positive review! ✨🖤✨
Been waiting for you to react to this. Fookin love Yungblud so much 🤘🖤⚰️🧷🪦
He’s amazing!!! I love this song and he just came out with a full album that I think you would enjoy! I would love to get your reaction on it! 🖤🖤🖤 thank you for the amazing review 🙌🏾
So happy you said « misfits vibes » I though the same thing. I love the song and the video 🖤🖤🖤
AS SOON AS I HEARD THIS SONG I WANTED YOUR REACTION THANK YOU I LOVE YOU❤️✨
This song, and the way he sings, reminds me of Billy Idol
It's Johnny Rotten singing Dancing with Myself, with the energy of Gerard Way!
we need a 21st century liability album reaction, king. it's my fav album and you will LOVE the songs.
Yungblud es arte.🖤
loved the new sound he’s experimenting with! any chance you would check out Palaye Royale? they recently toured with YUNGBLUD and opened for him!
Would love to see you react to any of Palaye Royale's songs. Morning Light is their first ever video as a band, and Paranoid is their most recent. They've changed sounds but have also kept THEIR sound throughout the years.
he gets a lot of hate bc people think he's a pop punk poser for some reason (probably his collabs w mgk, but it could be more reasons too) but i never understood why. some of his songs definitely have those influences but he has NEVER claimed to be a pop punk artist, he just makes music that he wants to make. all of his songs jump from genre to genre. i really respect him for taking influence from so many different areas & puts his own spin on it.
ALSO, i just saw him in LA the other night and the show was AMAZING. whats even cooler is that ive been a fan of him since he was a small artist playing small ass venues and now this tour hes been playing his biggest venues yet with the highest production quality yet & its really cool to see him gradually blow up and get more recognition cuz he totally deserves it!!
not to mention, being talented is obviously a huge part of being an artist, but being a PERFORMER is a really underrated quality. and dude, this fucken guy can PERFORM. he really knows how to command a stage and move an audience. hes so charismatic you can tell he just has a blast when he's up there. and thats in addition to his talent.
I love this song so much, so impressed and obsessed, it’s on repeat. Love that you reacted to it !! Also think of billy idol’s dancing with myself !
Yeeeessss!!!!! Yungblud. My love Dom 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🧷🧷🧷
Also the song really reminds me of Dancing With Myself by Billy Idol, but it’s still YUNGBLUD✨
YESSSS
Such an amazing song ur reaction was so great and relatable so proud of yungbuld and everything he has done can’t wait for his next album
Finally someone reacts to this masterpiece
Missed you and Dom! You could always go back and check out Fleabag if you didn't already hear it...
He's always had those vocal chops, he just doesn't show them off super often... he used them on the last album quite a bit... he went to musical theater school for 2 years from like 16-17, before he was on his Disney show. Listen to the song from the Disney show, you'll hear the chops there for sure : it's called "Tell It Like It Is", under Dom Harrison.
I saw him in Philly, he is amazing singing mars live was breathtaking
I really think you’d like Palaye Royale too.
obsessed with this song
I got to see him debut this song live in Seattle and it was incredible. We waited outside the venue at the busses after the show and he came over and greeted all of us took photos and signed things including my trans flag. HE'S SUCH A SWEETIE 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
Masterpiece
I hope you check out his video of what the song means to him on his twitter or Instagram
You should definitely check out palaye royal, they give off similarish vibes to Yungblud
YAY YUNGBLUD
billy idol dancing with myself
This song can be in an 80s car chase with cop cars getting F-up. Lol
hey Steve, can you react to STRAY KIDS? they have a new song called "MANIAC", they are a kpop group but i think the song is so much your style, you probably gonna love it. 🥰🙏
Please, react to Anitta - ENVOLVER 🇧🇷 you will love it!
hii the kpop group Stray Kids just released their new single Maniac and i would love to see your reaction to it! maybe you're interested :)
yesss
Yeah
Its his nod to billy idol
maybe by mgk ft bmth, or rich kids ruin everything by mod pls
Did you recognise his car? Seems the film would your thing
Please react to Maniac of Stray Kids
Thank you :)
Ayeeee
This song gives me Joy Division vibes, but I'm not sure why.
the only problem I had with this reaction was comparing him to so many others. Yungblud is yungblud. nobody else.
Can you react to more Greta Van Fleet?
The word poser just needs to go away.
