- Testing Women's WEIRD FACE SHAVERS 😳
Yes, there are a lot of different types of women's shavers... for the face. So I decided or Andrey decided to buy as many different types of face shavers that he could find online. I have to say, some straight up were torture and others were simple and worked. Let me know some of the devices that you use to shave or derma-plane your face.
My husband says same thing - women get scammed with beauty items, clothes and especially shoes
As a woman with hirsutism, I totally agree with you husband, male razors are so much gentle with my skin, because they are much more sharp and effective, don't pull at the skin as much and are made for the face (in shape and movement). For me, a 5 blades Gillete's razor is much better than anything made for women. I do use them for shaving tho, not for dermaplaning/exfoliation (even if they exfoliate my skin, that's not my main goal). So please girls be careful, some shaving devices can cause a lot of irritation if they're too dull.
I have hirsutism too (PCOS) and haven't used traditional razors cause I thought it would make the hair grow back worse? Do you find it has? I usually just use an electric razor
Due to my insanely sensitive skin, I tend to use one of my husbands replacement cartridges for his razor. So he has his one to use and then I change it to use my own as to not share the blades. BUT I have learned that his works so much better than the female ones even when ours are new. He has extremely sensitive skin also with his severe eczema and stuff so usually if he doesn’t react badly to it then I won’t either. And I use his razor types for face and any other body part as I’ve noticed they lack in tugging let alone they seem to cut so much closer that my skin is smoother longer before I have to shave again. (My sister in laws who have PCOS heard me explaining to their brother why I began taking one of his replacement cartridges and began to use ones like it also over female razors or electric ones etc and have also commented that they worked much better also. Plus they seem more cost effective as we’re not paying the whole added “pink tax” deal too.
@@bellas14u do you know which razor brand and whatnot your husband uses? I'd really like to give it a try
@@moonchild_778 i don't think so, since they're both cutting the hair, not plucking it. But maybe, to be sure, you could try it in a small area of your face for a while and see if there's any difference in the hair.
P.S. Excuse my poor english 😅 I'm still working on it.
@@bellas14u exactly! And yes! I also have noticed they give you a closer shave, so the skin feels smoother after :)
The flawless is awesome! I use it all the time. The blade hurts my skin. You weren't putting the flawless close enough to your skin. If you did the same thing with your skin that you did with your blade, it would have worked so well and wouldn't hurt the skin.
Nice hair cut!!! I don’t shave my face and never have. I’m 51 so maybe I’ll try it? Never occurred to me, to be honest.
Ditto!
I'm 58.
It's never occurred to me either
.....until this past year!
Sometime in the past couple of years, I've got wrinkles over my top lip, and a slight "moustache"!!
Now I don't know what to do!!! Lol
Thank you for this review 😊. I actually use Flawless and like it, I’m not comfortable using bladed shaver.
I’ve used the Flawless for years. I’ve never had any pain. It works great and is easy.
I bought the Flawless and it was useless. It worked just as Andre described. I now use the blades as so much simpler and gives a lovely finish.
I’ve always loved your videos. You’re very honest, low-key, informative, & thorough! Thanks for the great review of these. And that pizza looked FABULOUS ❤
Men never fail to be whimps with the simplest things. 😂
I’m almost 59 and I’ve been shaving my face since I was in my 40’s. Back then I don’t think there were ladies shavers for the face. I started out using my woman’s razor that I use on my legs and underarms. I’d use cold pressed coconut oil and woman’s shave cream. I now use Schick Hydro Silk razors for the face. I rinse and moisturize afterwards. Love you videos. Your children are so adorable. Thank you
The razors are a great tool to have. Just the exfoliating benefits alone are amazing!
Try not to get any hairs on your pizza...lol
Meanwhile, I've had a beard and mustache since the start of puberty.
I have the shaver that looks like a lipstick...with a circle one. The first one. I have always had coarse hairs. You must do it in circles.
Thank you for all your great tips. Love to see your family grow. I’m in my late 50’s and started shaving my peach fuzz on my face several years ago. I find it after a few days my skin feels a little rough, esp around the sides of my face. I’m wondering if this is something others experience too.
The hair cut!!!! Love it
Your white background is not helping for up close shots.
All of those except the razors. Are epilators not shavers. It pulls them out of the skin they don’t actually shave the hair off. Because the hairs plucked it takes longer to grow back than shaving.
I wish I had blonde peach fuzz! Mine is pretty dark. I do have to shave my mustache (I use the lipstick looking shaver), but I have never done the rest of my face. I’m too scared of it growing back and looking worse.
I used to have very dark hair, jet black hair actually when I was younger, I’ve been shaving my face for years and it’s never grown back any different to what it was, if anything, it doesn’t grow back as fast and it’s a lot lighter than it once was, but it could have something to do with my age now that I’m in my 60’s, I just use my hubby’s razor 🪒 in the shower with some cleanser, makes your makeup look so much better, I only have to do it every couple of months now. It’s not in our DNA to have hair grow back like a man, hence why that tool felt like it was pulling on her husband’s skin, I have the same tool but prefer just a regular razor and it’s much cheaper. 😊
I love your new hairstyle ❤🥰
I use a blade like the pink one Milana used. But I like doing it with a cleaner (balm) on my face, as a “shaving cream” for my face to minimize risk of nagging my skin and at the same time I know my skin stays clean 😊 love the glow that you get afterwards and how makeup looks on the skin!
I would never use one of these without something on the skin.
I was taught in beauty school that hair does not grow back thicker and fuller;
Which is accurate. But depending on your hair type/ethnicity it can grow back with a blunt end and the hair isn’t bleached by the sun.
So my Mexican and African cos school buddies, along with my Israeli self…have to wax out chins weekly due to waxing during school.
Please do a patch test to see how your hair reacts. Usually lighter; more fine hair will react well to this.
But for some it may become a task
I've pcos so I'm really afraid to do it. My sister has the same problem she tried laser to get rid of hairs and it grew back more thicker than before.
It happened to me too. PCOS and tried laser. I end up with more and thicker.
i think men's facial hair is more thicker hence why it hurts x
That eppiroller was a scary thing! I think hormone levels have a lot to do with the thickness and darkness of facial hair on women,
Wow your hair looks lovely. I use the Hollywood Browser and it's similar to the last tool you used. Very effective and very affordable. I would recommend trying that one.
Love that one as well.
@@TheSiobhan12 I've also had the Flawless a couple of years ago but wasn't a fan of that one. That was affordable too but no payoff with results.
I like to use the Flawless for peach fuzz, I just use it very now and then. But for spots near my chin where the hair is darker I prefer to use some thing that will pluck the hairs out like a tweezer or the R.E.M. Spring Facial Hair Remover I got from Amazon. The spring does take some getting used to, but I found it much faster than a tweezer. The one you have there looks similar to the one I have, but mine is much easier to control because there’s just one cord. That one looks like a torture contraption….
Spa science dermaplanning kit from Target is my absolute favorite for exfoliate and quick shave. I do prefer to use male razors over women's. I have for years!. Much sharper and alittle cheaper😂. I also only so it or both once a week or one week the next the other
When I was a teen, I had a few facial hairs that I started to shave. Eventually I grew a whole mustache and beard, which is dreadful! Because of this, I'm scared to start shaving my peach fuzz, however, my fuzz is pretty long and thick. I imagine my foundation applying so much better without it. I do shave my arms, though. I hate being such a hairy woman! I think hormones has something to do with my excessive hair. I wish it would grow thicker on my head instead.
Does anyone know a good but affordable men's electric shaver? I have PCOS and want a good close shave but don't have a huge budget for it
You cut your hair! I love this length on you .. I have the same right now.
I've never done anything like this in my life, and I'm 58.
BUT for about the past year, I've seen a "moustache" develop.....on top of my above lip wrinkles. It does bother me a bit now.
I rarely wear make up as I'm disabled with chronic illness/pain, so am very rarely out of the house, but I put make up on when I was invited for Christmas, to a friend's house. I noticed right away, that the foundation was looking a bit weird over my top lip, caused by the hairs I think.
ADVICE?
Has anyone got any advice for how to do this, particularly over your top lip, when your in your late 50s, and wrinkly too?
I don't have the best complexion, and literally "shaving" it with a razor, kind of terrifies me, as I'm sure I will nick myself on every wee lump and bump on my face!
I had initially thought I would get one of those little shavers....number 1 on your list, but there are loads of negative reviews on them.
Common sense would tell you (especially if you've ever plucked your eyebrows) the wired one will pull the hairs out and it's gonna be PAINFUL!!! 😫🤷♀️
I love shaving. My hair has never grown back darker or thicker.
That first one isn't a razor.. Andre having issue with the blades being dull- it's not meant to cut, it's meant to pull. It's like several "tweezers" that pull really quickly. It's intended to pull hairs out by the root
Please throw your Twinkle shaver out after three uses. They’re so cheap and alcohol doesn’t always sanitize them thoroughly.
Townsend,MD
The 1st one works like an epilator more than a razor. They are torture devices, like the Epilady that sold back around the 80's. Those were the exact words I used back then and also asked why it was bought for me. I, luckily never tried it on my face. I'm not sure they even advertised it for the face, but my legs were never finished with it and the small area I did do had ingrown hairs after.
Love the hair cut! Nothing better than the tried and true. Lol
Omg that pizza look delicious buen provecho
I love your new haircut! 👍💯❤️
Great video…. I can’t use the facial hair removers ( nair/ neet)
I used flawless for the past 3 plus years …I just advise to use some oil or moisturizer before . It’s easier and no fuss …. I love it so much I bought it for all the women in my family .
You cut your hair. Looks great but I just looked at the next video hair is long, confused, lol
I’ve tried those rollers that are basically little springs a few times and I always end up breaking out after
Wait isn’t this video old ? I’m pretty sure I’ve seen this before
The epilator pulls hair out that is how they work different than shaver
Aloe vera gel, eyebrow razor, and shave downwards!
your hair looks great !!
I am very fuzzy so I dermaplane every 3 weeks or so, I got a mens straight razor with disposable blades it’s super sharp and dose a amazing job but takes skill not to cut yourself. Definitely not for a beginner or if in a hurry
I was so focused on your face that I just realized your haircut at the end of the video!
It’s cute 😊
Something else - ie a higher end Braun series 8 shaver. My husband has used it for almost a decade and changed out the blades 2x and it’s been incredible. No more razor burn or bumps. No more ingrown hairs. It’s the best and works very well on my legs!
I’ve been using mens razors since High school they’re always better. I just recently got the Joy razor from Gillette that works like a mens razor and even that has a “soothing strip” that comes off after like 2 uses. Lol
Miss Gorgeous London is a very good and inexpensive one. Available on Amazon. There is no guard on the blade, so you need to use extreme caution. I’ve been using them for years and I’ve never cut myself.
I love Flawless! Have been using it for ages, and it always works great for me!
The flawless causes ingrown hairs for me… I stopped using it
What happened to Jackie?
This is an older video. Things were still pretty locked down.
@@GreenLemon88 definitely old video now she has long hair
@@JustTakeMeDancing Her assistant/friend.
@@jordanaward717 I remember watching this one during my many quarantines of 2020/2021.
@@GreenLemon88 yeah true
Mine doesn't grow back thicker or darker either. And i use the same as u
Even leg hair razors, just buy men's, they sharpen them more
I made the huge mistake of shaving my blonde mustache, it grew back dark! 😭
Epiroller? No cheese cutter! Yes, you are so right about the exfoliation. My hair did Not grow in thicker, darker or faster. Maybe it depends on your skin and hair type?
I feel like I have seen this video before... Deja vu?
Ohh wow you've had quite a big hair chop.
You really suit it xXx
Feel like I already saw this... a repost maybe.
I use the blade and the first time I used it I was shocked but it felt so good and smooth, did you cut your hair? it looks so cute if you did, thank you for all your great videos
I love the finishing touch one ☝ I’ve been using it for years 😏
Flawless works just fine for me. 👍🏻
I own the flawless and I do like it for touch ups but you can't beat the little manual facial shaver for a close shave/exfoliation.
I love all of your videos, this one especially. I've always wanted to this, so I'm taking your advice to have it done professionally❤
LOL At my age, I am using a Lady razor with the moisturizing strip on my face. Such a nice shave, I am still embarrassed to shave in front of my Hubby lol
I am 57, and have found that going through Menopause your hair will grow back darker :) you have a long time before that, I also enjoy shaving, but have more wrinkles to smooth out first lol. Luckily I only do it once a month if that.
I use the simple razor. It's cheap and it works.
is it just me or many of us have already watched this video 🤔🤔🤔
No you’re not alone 😂 i think it’s old and i remember it
@@giusybras8136 i thought I dreamt of watching this video 🤣🤣
Won’t it grow back dark and course
That purple tool is so painful . Do not try it
Yall are so cute, that pizza looks amazing.
I love the schick razors
I need to shave my back.
I use a scalpel and a brand new blade each time.
I lover your haircut!
You cut your haaair :D
No! To the purple rig
For me, since I started shaving mine seems to have grown back more. I thought it was an old wives tale, but at least In my case, it definitely grew back more. Not thicker or darker though.
You cut your hair
Wax
Waxing not good if you use strong retinols or retin a. Will pull your skin off
Girl you had a lot of fur
I don’t understand how it doesn’t start to grow back like a beard. Young men who start to shave don’t have a grown man’s beard at first but it starts to grow in heavier and more corse the more they shave, why wouldn’t a woman’s? I’ve been scared to shave my peach fuzz because of that reason. I know hair that I pluck has come back very corse.
Been shaving my face for years. Still just peach fuzz. My hormones are not a growing boys
No where near the testosterone levels in a teenage boys face vs a menstruating females..
@@jayg3242 I guess that makes sense. But what if you are post menopausal? I would love to be able to get rid of the peach fuzz for sure!
It's called hormones and puberty...different than an adult woman.
