I love how this somehow has the opposite energy of Vesper's "YOLO wing it" approach, but ended up at the same place.
People won't realize this but having that kind of voice is not easy and makes you very self conscious

Yes. InitiatingI had prejudice based on the contents with his type of voice in the neighborhood agency. But I'm glad that our Shinri decided being himself which is charming, meticulous, slight unhinged, yet wholesome.

He is so precious. Honestly, I love him for coming out full swing with those boundaries and setting his chat straight from the get go. I respect him so much for that. And then him being into zatsu, and slice of life stuff is just the cherry on top. Man, how did we get so lucky
I've only fallen into the rabbit hole recently, but I heard that people were skeptical of EN at first, only for it to blow up and be a massive success. When I first learned of Tempus, I thought maybe it was an attempt to make a boyband that appeals to women, but no, they're a bunch of fun, chill dudes you'd love to play games and share drinks with.
What I like about them, Shinri, and the others is that they're given a chance to put themselves out there, focus on their strengths, shine in their own way, all while allowed to be themselves. Some people want to make a career out of streaming only because they only see easy money and nothing else, but it's always nice to see people chase a dream and reach it.

With a feeling of having been shoved real close to crying, especially when he talked about his voice getting certain expectations, I'm now even surer that kind and disciplined Shinri's my favorite Vanguard member. It even makes a freaking beautiful complement to having thirsty and nutty Axel as my favorite Headquarters member. Really, these two holoTempus members are my favorite male VTubers in general as of now, and that's on top of HOLOSTARS being my favorite male VTuber group, especially since they aim to be respectable rather than respected. And I think I should admit that when I watched Shinri's debut, I thought of him as an attempt at combining the best of Altare and Vox. Some might say he's failing thanks to things like his subscriber count, but with HOLOSTARS, those who want to give them genuine support will learn and enjoy how they're quite the role models when it comes to treating things like obscurity as blessings in disguise. Again, respectable rather than respected. It's definitely nothing we should be proud of, but it's something we must humbly hold dear.
I've worried about Shinri feeling pressured to do fanservice-y content, but I'm glad to know that my worries were unfounded. I really enjoy his wholesome, chill and sometimes cursed streams!

So what he just said there was how all of my job interviews where I landed the job went. No script, no expectations, no facade. My former coworker who interviewed me (now friend) thought I had the most real answer to the "why do you want to work for us (the company)?" and without giving it any thought I just blurted out: "Cause I needed a job" And yeah, after being unemployed for so long and getting rejected for months there was no more energy left to put up a front.
But tbh, when I realized I said something that sounded "taboo" I thought I bombed the shit out of that interview lol. So yeah, when I got the call saying I got the job, I couldn't believe it in that same way.
Moral of the story is that you'd find success by just being yourself. "Failure does not make you a failure. Quitting does make you a quitter"
Respect to him. And also to the audition team.
I wanna thank Shinri for existing in the Vtuber world. It is simply meant to be. The laugh, gosh golly and unique, he's simply owning it...
There is such a sweetness to Shinri unlike the other members of Tempus. I wish him well.. he certainly fits the comfy vibes he is going for.
I love how even the EN branch of Stars, is not afraid to set some boundaries for the chat on what kind of content they want to do and not want to do. I was worried about them at one point because I thought they would pull a Luxiem, but no, they prefer to learn from their JP senpais and come out directly from the get go about these kinda thing
Tempus, or even Stars as a whole at this point, is just built different. I like them so much because of that

Ngl, I only watched Niji since I just wasn't able to vibe with holostars at first, but I'm glad Shinri got into holo and now I'm slowly starting to enjoy the other tempus boys as well. I really love his content so much and I'm glad he wanted to do what made him happy.
