I love it when you do the unboxing of items at the storage units
Keep a little container in the truck with your gloves, tape measure, KNIFE, and anything else you need to clear out a unit. Then you'll never be without it. Donate the socks (3:00) to a homeless shelter. Jelly BELLY, guys; NOT bean. Shipping cost has nothing to do with the value of the contents. I could spend a boatload to send a cinderblock to the west coast or a few dollars to mail a diamond ring to the next street over (but why, for either one?). Is this the stuff that was auctioned a couple of weeks ago?? Such hap-hazard packing they did.
@16:01 I agree with you Ashley about storing food in a storage locker. I don't think it was the owner(s) that packed this all up. I think someone else did it for them and was in a hurry. Look at all of the paper that was thrown in various boxes. Like someone was evicted or thrown in jail?

The packing is typical of a landlord job. They either got evicted, or just disappeared without taking their stuff. The landlord is legally obliged to store everything in the apartment for a certain period of time, including the food.

This was a mixed unit and some of it was nasty, I will never understand why put food in a storage unit? I'm glad you found some great items to sell and some for the families use, your face lit up Wade when you found the barbeque set lol. What can Wade learn from this unit. TAKE A KNIFE! Every video "darn dont have my knife" .................And dont judge a unit by looks. Looked like a bad one - was awesome! Loved all the Jelly Belly Merch, Different.
"Why would people put food in a storage unit?" Maybe because they were evicted and just packed everything up, hoping to be able to find another place to live and empty out the unit into their new home? I still have 1 unit (out of 3 I had to rent when I got evicted) - I hope to finally empty it next spring. // Why do you have to donate microwaves? I'd buy another used one - I purchased a very good one at a yard sale.

"Dang i forgot my knife" is always one of the first things you say once you get inside the unit. I laughed out loud! I cannot understand why someone would pay money to store old magazines and food. They could have cleaned out their stuff and rented a much smaller, and more affordable, unit. About the 'Usher' cologne- you said you loved Axe and one of your sons is named Axel. Is your third child going to be 'Usher'?!

It's sad to think someone's whole life is in that storage unit. They probably lost their job then Lost their apartment and had to put everything in the storage unit just to loose everything. Very Sad.
Yes, looks like they had to move in a hurry. Sometimes I wish I knew their story.
My family had to twice .....last time I was 14 and ....ugh. ... definitely depressing then finding out the stuff we were told " we'd get back when we found a new home" we never got back :(

Ha ha. That green cane looking thing on the table/bench is from physical therapy. You position a poker on a pain spot. Keep pressure on that spot until the pain goes away. Most useless thing I ever had. Leaving it for the kids to figure out. Ha ha.

You need to hire someone to haul away the stuff of little to no value to your home.
And YOU only bring home the stuff of value.
And YOU throw away the trash and return personal items as you decide what is what because you are dealing with several units at a time.
You, Ashley and Grandma have enough to do. You need to give yourself less work and more time for the selling.

'Distressed jeans.' Why the heck would ANYONE want to buy jeans that look like they belong in the garbage? Gee - just wear out your own jeans - it's cheaper! (If mine looked that bad, they'd either be worn when working in the yard or doing DIY projects or else they'd be tossed in the garbage.) Just like when people re-do furniture and then 'distress' them - I just want to repaint them so they look good - not worn out!
Obviously that unit wasn't stored by the owner. Probably by the guy who rented him the house. Owner prob dead or in jail. Probably in jail for stealing gloves from jelly belly co.

Not a normal way to prep for the end of the world.. there are products that are better. Freeze dried, canned, etc.. good hunting

Sometimes the manager of persons house they are renting will rent a unit and put the person's belongings into it they put everything. Happens more then u would think.
Where I live if they find you stored food in your unit they kick u out and all your stuff
