With a V I thought you might play metal. I was hoping to hear what thrash metal would sound through those pickups.
I like Gretsch guitars. This is this first time I’ve seen someone use Gretsch pickups on a different guitar.

I'll probably do another one with a heavier tone. It's a neck pickup though so better for lead playing than thrash riffs!

@@ThrashRebel It's a Jaydee Old Boy rail pickup, really high output 24k. It kicks ass! The two sound really nice together, especially with some more gain. They're both bridge pickups so in the middle position it's an out of phase half cocked wah sound, but with more power.

Oroku Saki, I bought a pair of Guitarheadz High Gain pickups for my Jackson. They are great for thrash metal.
I bought another set of Guitarheadz pickups for my Telecaster, but they are an aftermarket set specifically for Telecasters.
Guitarheadz has some good pickups & they are not overpriced.
