Yeah - Am3ric4 did that cos they overthrew the democratically elected government of Iran cos they nationalised the oil companies...!!!

You should see the Afghanistan ones from the 1960s.
Not just the people and clothing changed, but the whole country got bombed into dust and then the Taliban destroyed what was left.
No buildings, statues or anything else is left.
