Good morning Anita.I am Shenaaz from NZ.I love watching your programmes. The plants are cheap and a lot of varieties. I always look out for your new vlogs.
I am from the Philippines but I really appreciate your plant shopping on the many nurseries and shops around your area. I am in owe of how much appreciation you have on every plant specie you come across with. All the best and keep safe 😊❤️
yesterday i was in charlotte for a day and went to cactus club and grow a plant and they were so cool! i would’ve never learned about them if it wasn’t for your videos, thank you!!
You shopped smart, got exactly what you wanted (and what you could provide good care for) and did so on a tight budget. How could we not be pleased with that? 😊 #goals
I'm always interested to see the price differences in different areas! I'm in Texas and got a starfish cactus last year for less than $10 at my local university's plant sale. I'm used to there being some price differences in the US but that one was shocking!
Dang this really makes me miss how amazing the Trader Joe’s in NYC were! We only have a tiny one in Cincinnati...lucky to have one shelf of plants there, haha. Fun to live vicariously though!
My Trader Joes in Seal Beach CA, had Hoya Australis in 6 inch pots for, $11.99. I bought a really healthy Venus flytrap for, $5.99, and some really cool cacti 🌱❤🌱🤗
Omg I’m from Canada and I so wish we have these prices! Plants are so expensive here! And Wow all those choices, I don’t know how you do it, I would have left with so many plants! Love your videos! Have a nice day :)
Have you ever done a video on how you manage watering and fertilizing all your different variety of plants? I don’t have nearly the amount of plants you do but because of the different watering/fertilizing needs of the plants, I sometimes lose track of what I’ve done to which plants.😳🤷♀️🤪 I’m so jealous of the great nurseries in your area😉
Broken record here, but I'm so frustrated over the lack of micans in my area as well! I'm hoping any day now we start to see them pop up in the northeast, fingers crossed!
Omg!! I need that micans Trader Joes!! Great deal and beautiful plant!! Ice enjoyed this tour so far!! Im new to your channel, first time watching!! Job well done maam!! 👏I enjoyed 😉☺❤plants 🪴plants 🪴plants 🪴plants 🪴😄😆😀absolutely love!!! 💯
I love the plants you got. These are 2 of my favorite kinds off plants. On my trip down to NC I went to Pikes and got a Sayuri and Bantel Sensation snake plants. Then I went to Malone`s and came out with a Whale fin!, a fairytale cactus, and a African milk tree.
👏👏👏 nice video and awesome that u found what u wanted, I personally wouldn't have bought anything cause I didn't see any insane low prices and I'm almost exclusively a clearance shopper, but like last month I splurged and bought a medium sized FLF for $15 at Sam's Club because that was one of the plants I had been really looking for
Wow, I don't know what is the big plant behind you on the right of the screen (your left) but it is beautiful, with the deep green that looks like velvet... gorgeous 🤩
Great picks! I probably would have picked the same hoya and a micans. I love micans and finding a micans for that cheap in Canada at least anywhere I've seen is unheard of.
One of your very best videos! ( And that’s saying a lot since all your videos are excellent)! Loved your choices. Love me some Hoyas and some snake plants!🥰. There seems to be a lot of miss-labeling on snake plants. I’m not sure why. I have what appears to be a black coral and one which is obviously a Moonshine Sansevieria. They’re both beautiful and such easy care. (Purchased the Moonshine at King’s). 😊. Many thanks for showing us all the beautiful plants at these two great nurseries. Excellent job on sticking to your budget. Well done!! 👏🌿🥰💚
I believe the yellow will come around the edges as that snake plant matures. That one is so cute when mine has babies they come out like that but as they get older they turn green or with a yellow edging
That was the Micans jackpot!!!!! I paid like $39.99 for a 4 inch pot and it died like a month later. So bummed. I seriously need to make a trip to North Carolina just to shop for plants.😭😭😭😭
That looks like a Zylanica superba. My laurentii have the yellow on them. Superba stay a bit smaller. Cute ! I am a new Sansevieria addict . They're so cool!
We drove a hour off track to Charlotte on our way to Florida. Pikes is beautiful! They didn't have this great selection last weekend, but, pretty good nonetheless. And, it was steamy!! Malone's was pretty cool, a bit pricey. They had some great pots.
I wish we had a nursery but we don't so I have to order plants online or buy at Walmart or grocery stores and from others so many I would love to have from the places you went wow
Thank you for all the updates on plant care your so funny 😆 also I live in Charlotte as well and I actually never been to Pikes so I’m definitely going to check them out this weekend. Do you ever find the variegated ficus in any of the big box stores? I loved the begonias gonna puck one of those us as well. Trader Joe’s always has really good deals on plants I pick up items there all the time.
Beautiful plants ! I bought a mican one leaf cutting for $7 and I was so excited to see it's little leaves form. That's an amazing deal for someone! I just recently got a kentiana and I'm in love with it !
Hey Ashley love you videos. I’m off work and just in time. Ooohh I would’ve gotten that Hoya as well 😍😍 I have a some piece of a wayetti that I’m propping. I had bought an overwatered basket from HD and it died. Luckily that prop is doing so well 😊😊
Heyyyyy gurrlll. So I saw on your story a few days ago you were going to visit one of costa farms’s greenhouses and you wanted us to respond with some questions for them. Please remember to ask them for an update about the thai constellations 😭😭
Great finds!! Just to note, the all green birkins you saw at Pikes were most likely juveniles, not reverted. Birkins start off as all green leaves and get their characteristic striping as they mature.
They aren't actually Birkins at all from what I can tell and for sure not reverted as they are hybridized from Congo Rojo and that isn't it. Those looked more like a P. Mia to me
PLEASE! I need a planty friend in NC! I’d gladly pay my friend $30 to send me a couple of those $5.99 micans to me! Wow! We can’t get them here in South Dakota. 😢
I think I must be the only one in the world that doesn't dig Micans!! They just look kinda messy to me, I prefer a full fluffy heart leaf or pothos. Loving that Hoya though, great video as always Ashley.. thank you
So funny to see this when I just commented yesterday about finding those hoyas at that same Pike's! I picked the 4 inch pot of the kentiana but didn't even notice the label lol.

Dude all my plant shops and store are so expensive for plants I got an 8” rattlesnake for $30 it was even that big! These plants are huge and are great prices 😩
I don't think you need to LOOK for a variegated neon pothos it's very random. I purchased a neon pothos from Walmart last year and it has grown several variegated leaves on n it's own. There are about 8 leaves with lime/dark green on them. It was a nice surprise.
