I love Joe Strummer's work with The Clash, and also very much his work with the Mescaleros. His social awareness is super admirable, and his tunes are unforgettable. I wish I had his voice. And his coolness. Happy to see him live on through fans like us!
RIP Joe my heart breaks that your not with us anymore, you where without a doubt one of the greatest influences to music and to me if there is a punk rock heaven your defiantly there!!
I saw JS in Tokyo at a concert a year or so before JS died and he was just great. It was a bit like an emotional family reunion. What I really loved was seeing so many people in their 30s and 40s young at heart, but also a whole new generation (or two! ;-)) enjoying it. And boy, didn't Joe and his magnificent Mes DELIVER. It was great!!! Like watching the older brother you admire giving everything. In the end, he gave his heart.
seen joe live 4 weeks before he died never forget the greatest rock&roll star of a genertation johnny cash.elvis.true punks of there generation just like joe
