Fun Fact, The Island is an actual real life movie...several of them, actually. The first one was made in 1980 and it is about a bunch of people that have discovered an island that was inhabited by a bunch of descendants of French pirates from the olden days of the pirates. The second one was made in 2005 and it is a science fiction thriller about some people that discover that they are also clones of other people and that their purpose is to be essentially treated like they are the human version of cattle and that they are supposed to serve the role of being living organ farms. The third one was made one year later in 2006 and it is a true story about a former rock star from the waning days of the old USSR that converted to the Eastern Orthodox Church and became a monk, as well as a hermit, on an island that is near a small village that is far from most other places of civilization in the region of Siberia. The fourth, and final, one, was made this year (2023), and it is about a cop that takes some time off of work to go back to the island where he, as well as his brother, had lived on after his brother was killed and said island is now controlled by a despotic tyrannical tycoon and his goons. None of the movies are related to one another.
