That Stantler is actually crazy. Depending on the DVs it has around a 700 BST with three stats around 150 or higher. Minimum 80 speed isn’t that bad either

Now that I think about it, can't a rom be unwinnable if a key item is behind 1st place contest but all the mons are like magikarp, magby, etc?
Not likely. Plus each contest has different high scores. Usually if Cooltrainer Nick is in the contest (you can check for him on the left side of the fountain) then yes its probably not possible with only trash pokemon. However, you can just keep restarting the contest until you don't see him there and the first place score will be much lower and even trash pokemon have a chance at the max level.
Where can I get that randomizer?
which program did you use for the map rando? The traker i use for crystal only has key items and badges
I'd like to try one too (withoug the hidden items though) but linking maps seems fun
I love this, I wish this could be done with Gen 3 next! I’d love to run an Emerald item randomizer, but I’m not brave/knowledgeable enough for full chaos mode

Oh man, I did something like this years ago and specifically for a group nuzlocke. Got an Ekans with dragon rage who swept the early game. I prefer normal randomizers but doing one of these every once in a while is a breath of fresh air.

It's probably more of a matter of knowing what settings to use on the randomizer app than it is a matter of knowing where to just download a ROM, so unfortunately you'll have some legwork to do in the discord channels to set this up the way they do

If everything is random, why does Pewter sell super repels and not berzerk genes or nevermeltice?
Not sure if Gen II has a Random Mart setting. I always get confused with stuff that is only an option in Crystal and stuff that is only an option in Emerald.
