I was getting super annoyed with this rider constantly looking back and then crouching down like he’s going to really rocket away and never really going anywhere. Rinse and repeat. What a douche.

It was hilarious every time he really bore down on the accelerator, you know he was hoping to leave the cops in the dust, when in reality, his speed went from 51mph to 54mph.

This is the first motorcycle chase I've ever seen where the rider spent +60% of the time looking behind at the never wavering officer. Unskilled rider on a half-baked bike.
Watched this one in bed and about woke The Hubby with a snort from trying not to laugh. Dude also tried to “turn” the bike and cut across the road to keep a straighter path ‘cuz he didn’t know how to lean a bike to turn. Was shocked he managed not to crash on the gravel. Especially the transition between gravel and pavement is pucker-factor for me as n a motorcycle. 😹
Well its not like he can say he didnt know the police were behind him, he looked backwards 90% of the chase. General rule, worry about whats in front of you, not behind ( if in a chase)
You brake, hard, approaching a dip or hump. That rocks the car forward. Right when you get to it, you nail the accelerator, which raises the front of the car. The Timing is the tricky part.
I am pretty sure that he genuinely thought he was going fast. He was even using exaggerated movements and leaning forward to streamline. Lol. It isn't very often that we see a slow speed motorcycle chase.
This can't be a real chase. I've never seen someone twist that throttle so hard that bike is a real POS. I would have just gave up. ASP for the win riding the bike out the grass!!😂😂

Arkansas has been known to do it, in this particular case they were sure he wasn't going to elude them when he didn't even make it to 70 mph and his display of lack of experience riding a bike was obvious, they figured he would crash on his own at some point, there also wasn't much traffic that he endangered the public with his driving, the police also knew the bike was stolen so they don't want to be the reason the bike gets damaged, it opens them up for a lawsuit from the owner of the bike. Lastly, another commenter brought up a good point, it makes for a longer report the officer has to type up and potentially testify to in a court proceeding. Contrary to popular belief, cops aren't looking to arrest people, it makes more work and court dates sometimes are set on their off days, it's always best when you act nice and respectful when pulled over, they will act according to how the driver acts, it's saved me from tickets that I deserved.
