There`s a huge shortage of Elijah craig here in Canada.. I think the demand is too great for Heaven hills to produce enough for the world.. Kind of a bummer because it`s my favorite mid range bourbon.

Larry as a past BF distillery tour guide during collage summers your video explained a part of the process I did not know! I do know all the beautiful color of bourbon comes from the charred oak red layer I did not know that evaporation increased the proof. Very logical though. Thanks

I need to get my hands on one of those 3 bottles left on that 30 yr barrel. Can you imagine that sweet hot electric 170 proof bourbon-gasm! Dear momma!

Trees have different grain structures and cell patterns... adds to the mystique of bourbon .

Corrugated staves - neat idea. More surface area should speed up the aging process.

Funny to hear this guy say you "just gotta" experiment after listening to makers mark distiller say they stick to their roots and just do one type of whiskey, one mashbill, one flavour profile

1 mil barrels = 200 mil bottles of whiskey.
