Box 6 New Show Spotlight - "All Around Us"

The show is about the beauty “all around us” that we don't stop and take the time to appreciate. The featured Flute soloist performer represents that beauty through musical/visual skills and by the use of the accent color. The 1st movement is all about the battery going about their daily lives not really taking the time to “stop and smell the roses.” The 2nd movement is about finally noticing the beauty and welcoming it into our lives.
"All Around US" was originally the Scholastic Open Bronze Medalist at SCPA Championships in 2022 performed by Gahr HS. This show was released for the 2023 indoor season and was written by John Mapes and Trent Gronewold.
