I've been hesitant to post this but, alas, here is a quick edit of mostly raw video. We'll see what the response is after a couple of months.
Air Warrior Survival Vest to which I've added two Tactical Tailor 1H pouches, two Blue Force Gear single pistol mag pouches and two ATS Tactical slimline 5x8 pouches (with some internal mods)

From one survival equipment aficionado to another.., brother u nailed. I love love love it!! Attention to detail with real world customizations. With all do respect… I’d add an orange silk signal panel (weighs ounces) and a HEEDS bottle (for underwater egress). You though of everything! Well done!!! 👍👍😁🇺🇸

Should be standard for air kits.
why would you want a gun and ammo to take place and weight on a survival kit?

This is amazing. I’m working on a kit now and this is a life saver. What pen flare kit is that? I cannot find any good ones for sale down here. The only one I can reliably find is the Orion Back Pocket Rocket, and I have seen too many fail to fires on it to want it.
Thanks. That is the US Navy pen flare kit. It took me over two years to find a current production setup.
My previous kit also had the Orion Pocket Rocket setup. I went thru a water survival class, in the bay and in the pool, and the rockets did fine through that.
I found that releasing the striker would light most of the flares, after a couple of strikes.
Then I discovered that instead of sliding the striker to the side and letting it release on its own, that pulling back the striker just that little extra bit and then releasing would light every meteor on the first try, like perfect lol.

Where can I find that survival guide? I've looked all over and cannot find one made on the rite in the rain material like you've got there.
Yeah, eBay was the best I could do. Get specific with the search and save that search to notify you of new listings.
All that gear but no food rations?
Why would a civilian air survival kit be camo?

yes, but not available. The pouches could be bought in a different color but that would be an eyesore lol.
Which bags you used for water pouches? I cant find the ones with red marks
hello, I used regular FoodSaver vacuum bags, cut a small slit (to tear through) and painted a red triangle with red Sharpie. It ended up being easier as DIY.
where did u buy the vest, I can hardly find any results
You can save eBay searches. Several months later The Right One finally showed up. I’d prefer solid black or dark brown but the OCP is ironically subdued, especially against the older ACU lol
where did you get the vest itself? and how much?
ebay. I set up a search alert until the right kit came up. I would have preferred a solid color (black or coyote) but multicam is, oddly enough, a rather subdued scheme. I think this came out to $300 (it is brand new)
were can i purchase the ALSA survival manual
well .... I had to save my ebay search for these and just wait for the right ones to be listed. not ideal but that's how it was for me.
What vacuum sealer and bags do you use?

I agree with you on water. I'd ditch the Bible (athiest) and replace it with protein bars. Two questions: can an external gun and knives be mounted? And is this vest too big for small, private aircraft? Thanks
Despite my efforts it is too bulky. There is a lot of material in the Air Warrior vest all by itself.

Thought the glock was so if the chopper wasn’t stopping to pick you up. You could shoot it down and at least have company. I’ve always heard misery loves company.
