Sean and Lee has a hip hop royalty Master mix beatbox rap that really goes hard also Gloria is the Peckham Princess also watching this you really have to love the early 90s
Norman beaton, carman munroe, Ram john holder, mona hammon, count prince miller and so many of these west indian actire were all from the windrush generation from Guyana, Trinidad, Jamaica, barbados and other west indian ciuntries that went to Britain.
Thank you for helping me relive my childhood! This was one of my favourite shows in the early 90s. Used to have a huge crush on Kim Walker who played Gloria😍
Loved the show, but as a Jamaican, I always wondered why their two younger children used Jamaican mannerisms and languages. The parents were supposedly Guyanese.
@UnseriousAcademic-b1x 😂 Only a Jamaican and Trinidadian can tell, the rest of the world at that time had no clue Guyana existed and what they sound like. People hear Ghana when you say Guyana and so they think African. Guyanese have no identity of their own they love to copy foreign identity, Jamaican music is heard in their mimi bus and personal car. Right now many Guyanese would like to leave Guyana some would welcome a US take over. So the kids sounding Jamaican is no big deal only a few people would be able to tell the difference. Fact is many in the Caribbean don't know what Guyanese sound like.
I loved this show growing. It is a classic. RIP Desmond, Sue-Sue andMathew.
I can binge watch Desmond all day 😌
Yeah Mon! 😄
Every cast member played their role excellently. Classical, cultural comedy the world slept on
