Great Clip - Germany TV 1969 Gala-Abend der Stars - very rare. They did 2 Songs live - the other one was "Blwin`In The Wind"" I think the sound on the clip is a mix between studio and live. Do you have the complete live sound?? Please let me know.
Hi, unfortunately not. it's the actual sound of the aired Hollies' feature. However something tells me it's the actual "live" sound. (? Thanks for the background info on this. I hadn't had a idea of where it came from lol.
There was a programme called ‘Stars unterm Funkturm‘ on German channel RBB (2019). It was broadcast again on German channel PHOENIX on Feb 12. It included the (almost complete) live performance of ‘Sorry Suzanne’ by the Hollies, i. e. live audio. Really excellent.
Life long fan of the Hollies! A truly remarkable band!
Great clip, amazing vocals and what a drummer Bobby is!

What a nice surprise. I've never seen this video. Many thanks for posting this.

Terry Sylvester, guitarist and singer in the Hollies wrote this...
Incorrect it was Tony Macauley and Geoff Stephens its all online to be seen and verified.
Are you sure? The label on the 1969 Parlophone vinyl single says: Stephens - Macaulay.
