Thank you! We installed the Liberty condensate pump and depending on the dehumidifier installed, we choose the duct size that goes with it. i.e. E100 uses a 10'' duct and E70 uses an 8'' duct
By using this wiring for the remote control 76, the humidity sensor is with the remote? So, if I install my dehumidifier in the laundry and duct to the attic to dehumidify the attic. I need to place the remote in the attic to work as a humidity sensor? Thanks.
Thanks Ive been looking for a video on this! Would this process also work on the Aprilaire Wifi thermostat? Also, this may be dumb question, but does it take the thermostat reading from the unit (crawlspace) or where the thermostat is located (hallway/living space)?
What humidity settings do the 7 zones represent? Also, my dehumidifier was off with an E4 error code because the filter needed to be changed. Will the Model 76 indicate whether the unit is on, off, or has an error code? Thanks for the video.
Two questions: What percentage do the number setting correspond to? In remote mode, does the unit use the humidity measured at the remote pad to control the unit?
I'm not sure why they do it this way, but there are just 4 settings and they don't directly correspond to specific humidity %. It's more like a low, medium, high type of system. It reads the RH from the unit, not the thermostat.
have you tired this remote in External control mode ? my installation requires that. I have tried 2 model 76 by now neither work in external control mode. The dehumidifier simply doesn't turn on. I have tried to even flip the DH wires to see if the instructions on the paperwork were incorrect but that didn't help. Remote control mode works fine. External control mode, no dice.
@@thecrawlspaceace4696 External is for when the unit is used as a whole house dehu. The "remote" becomes the humidity sensor turning on/off the dehu based on the location of the model 76. Remote is for when the dehu is in the space that needs dehumidifying and you want to see and adjust it from another space.
Been two years, but the instructions are fairly clear, so if its not working there is a problem. I assume you have contacted customer support? They have been helpful to me in the past before purchase in understanding everything.
If the 76 is bieng used in "Remote" mode, it doesn't matter what wall it is mounted on. It only matters if its bieng used in "External" mode where the 76 becomes the sensor for a whole house type ducted setup.
Your Video is easy to follow, Instruction book is confusing. Thx for taking the time to post.
Sure! Thanks for watching.
Is( A yellow) for the compressor and b blue for the fan? What if i want to wire this controller to another dehumidifier, do you know if A and B go to?
Hi great video thank you . What pump did you install ? Did you buy a ducting kit with the 10 into 8 inch of so when one did you use , thank you 🙏

The humidity is read from where the dehumidifier is located. The thermostat is only a controller.
@@thecrawlspaceace4696 ok, thanks.

What if "ON" is Blinking ?
Many thanks
Perfect! Thanks!

@@thecrawlspaceace4696 Question. At the end of the video it was giving you a humidity reading...is that the humidity in the basement?
@@electvolt67 The humidity reading on the thermostat is read from where the unit is installed.

What is the reasoning for needing it in external mode if remote mode works fine?

Where did you mount the control? Is that an outside wall?
In the house. It was in the customers closet, that's where they wanted it.

Is it connected to the furnace?
It is not, sorry I should have specified that this dehumidifier was installed in a crawl space as a separate system.
