In this chapter of my life I’ve told myself that I’m not dating another man that brings the survival mode out of me, I want to date a man that brings the soft side out of me. Part of being an amazing wife while I'm single is understanding what my husband might be facing so I can intercede in advance on his behalf Even though I haven't met him, I have a duty to him, and him me. The reason why I'm abstinent is to be faithful in advance, waiting until you're in relationship to learn faithfulness is an uphill battle.... you'll wound before you heal and may never get to heal the wounds you were meant to heal because the wounds you cause were too much! I love these discussions and always have to keep in mind that they are talking about MEN (49:15) who are working towards evolving, who are seeking God and have a personal and progressing relationship with Christ, who are emotionally available, and who are actually adults (not 46 years old stunted with the mindset of a 13 year old, hell bent and unwilling to grow). Those men we can walk with through evolution. But we must pray for discernment to make sure they aren’t ’Projects’ as Jerry calls them but the one we are to Purpose with! Without discernment we too often kill parts of ourselves foolishly thinking we can encourage and love someone enough for them to love themselves. Only God can do that part!
I watched it by myself and then with the wife. I understood the message, it was great. Sadly my wife didn't grasp everything in the message, she would turn things around saying women do that. Failing to the understand how this pertains to me without putting her in it. Plus the most important part to me in the message that women need to acknowledge is the "safe place" for the man to talk and be vulnerable. My husband and I went through counseling and the one thing that really stuck was start viewing each other through the lens of Christ and to lead with Love first. It has helped greatly. I think it can subject women to abusive behaviors by men while offering the excuse of evolution.... I also believe that men are emotional creatures; they just may be limited in the expression of their emotion b/c they haven’t been taught or allowed to express it and identify it properly. 40:14 I really wanted to stay quiet. Especially since this isn't necessarily me, per say. My gentleness isn't transactional, it's conditional on that connection to God as it is a fruit from the Holy Spirit. That being said, women make intimacy transactional and it's pay up front 😂. But for real, I appreciate the wisdom but it's tough to hear men being accused of making anything transactional when whatever we receive seems to be dependent on what we can provide or how well we're maintaining the relationship. Sounds pretty transactional regardless.

Men or boys who are weak, shy, and/or timid can have a very high purpose in the eyes of God since God chooses the weak to confound the mighty (1 Cor. 1:27). All a weak, shy, and/or timid man/boy needs is to trust in God especially by His Spirit (2 Timothy 1:7). Cast all their cares/ anxieties on God since He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Allow God's Spirit of love to cast out fear because it torments you (1 John 4:18; 2 Timothy 1:7) and walk in faith to overcome all they are going through (2 Cor. 5:7). My identity is in Christ who cares what others think of me (Col. 3:1-3; 2 Cor. 6:14-18). God has delivered me from depression, loneliness, suicidal thoughts, pride, fear, lust, doubt, anxiety, stress, vanity, and confusion in the last 1-3 years. God has been so good to me. Taste the goodness of God (Ps. 34:8; 1 Peter 2:3). Part of walking in faith is what you do in private to God. Jesus discusses it here in the first reference (Matt. 6:1-18; Ps. 1:1-3; Gal. 5:16). The pastor who stated that men are not “emotional” slipped back to his default misogyny, because he stated earlier that men have a lot of “anger” and “toxicity” (all of which are emotions) which makes it hard for them to show gentleness! But when he said that women should not desire men who are already walking in their purpose and have already reached a level of financial security, because those men will see women as an “accessory versus a necessity,” I was done hearing him! As usual the messages to men and women are shrouded in misogyny and the blame is shifted to the women even among “Christian men!”

Do you know how to be tender or will you just stare at her not knowing what to do when she’s looking to you to lead her as the partner God brought into her life? Are you in fellowship with God to figure out the pieces of you that confuse you and need to develop, because God placed those pieces of you from birth to be developed over time with HIM
What about the women who don't mind supporting encouraging and being there for the men who are still evolving some women stick around for men they shouldn't that they see their potential but the man is not interested in evolving or healing. I'm not trying to be divisive, I'm just pointing out that your calling holds more responsibility and holds more weight with God. I'm not against being encouraged to level up, I enjoy it but the pastor is called to lead the congregation whether they follow or not.

I can only speak for myself but I have walked blocks, in circles, long windy roads and even the green mile with brothers and it seemed that my consistency and compassion only turned into excuses over adjustments. Of course I self examine and ask myself what could I have done differently and governed myself accordingly , but I must ask is there possibly a double standard whereas men expect an already polished version of us and at the first sign that our humanity is displayed we are accused of not being a team player, too emotional, moving too fast or too slow or labeled as non supportive?. I love these discussions and always have to keep in mind that they are talking about MEN (49:15) who are working towards evolving, who are seeking God and have a personal and progressing relationship with Christ, who are emotionally available, and who are actually adults (not 46 years old stunted with the mindset of a 13 year old, hell bent and unwilling to grow). Those men we can walk with through evolution. But we must pray for discernment to make sure they aren’t ’Projects’ as Jerry calls them but the one we are to Purpose with! Without discernment we too often kill parts of ourselves foolishly thinking we can encourage and love someone enough for them to love themselves. Only God can do that part!

I watched it by myself and then with the wife. I understood the message, it was great. Sadly my wife didn't grasp everything in the message, she would turn things around saying women do that. Failing to the understand how this pertains to me without putting her in it. Plus the most important part to me in the message that women need to acknowledge is the "safe place" for the man to talk and be vulnerable. Please understand this because this hurts alot of relationships and can cause your man to stray away. 😔

There is a message before this one that women should listen to, it's really good but some women won't receive it because they will say what about the men or don't take any accountability for their actions. My husband and I went through counseling and the one thing that really stuck was start viewing each other through the lens of Christ and to lead with Love first. It has helped greatly. If you can discuss the video. No matter what you respond the way God wants you too regardless of her. It will work out!

I think it can subject women to abusive behaviors by men while offering the excuse of evolution.... I also believe that men are emotional creatures; they just may be limited in the expression of their emotion b/c they haven’t been taught or allowed to express it and identify it properly. 40:14 I really wanted to stay quiet. Especially since this isn't necessarily me, per say. My gentleness isn't transactional, it's conditional on that connection to God as it is a fruit from the Holy Spirit.
That being said, women make intimacy transactional and it's pay up front 😂. But for real, I appreciate the wisdom but it's tough to hear men being accused of making anything transactional when whatever we receive seems to be dependent on what we can provide or how well we're maintaining the relationship. Sounds pretty transactional regardless.

Men or boys who are weak, shy, and/or timid can have a very high purpose in the eyes of God since God chooses the weak to confound the mighty (1 Cor. 1:27). All a weak, shy, and/or timid man/boy needs is to trust in God especially by His Spirit (2 Timothy 1:7). Cast all their cares/ anxieties on God since He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Allow God's Spirit of love to cast out fear because it torments you (1 John 4:18; 2 Timothy 1:7) and walk in faith to overcome all they are going through (2 Cor. 5:7).
My identity is in Christ who cares what others think of me (Col. 3:1-3; 2 Cor. 6:14-18). God has delivered me from depression, loneliness, suicidal thoughts, pride, fear, lust, doubt, anxiety, stress, vanity, and confusion in the last 1-3 years. God has been so good to me. Taste the goodness of God (Ps. 34:8; 1 Peter 2:3). Part of walking in faith is what you do in private to God. Jesus discusses it here in the first reference (Matt. 6:1-18; Ps. 1:1-3; Gal. 5:16). Learn to live a fasted life at least 1 day a week. Your relationship with God should be more intimate than any other relationship in your life. Part of walking in faith is understanding how the devil attacks, and how the devil wants to make you feel (John 10:10). The devil wants you to be depressed, stressed, confused, quick to anger, slow to listen, prideful, quick to speak, to view yourself as worthless, to be afraid, to curse yourself, and to curse others (1 Cor. 14:33; James 1:19-20; 1 Peter 5:5; Ecc. 10:12-14; 1 John 4:18). You curse yourself by complaining, doubting God, gossiping, saying to yourself that you are a fool/ stupid, speaking against a brother/sister in Christ, rejoicing in your boasting, blaming God for something that seems bad to the eye, etc (Numbers 11:1; James 1:8; Numbers 12:1-11; James 4:11; Job 2:9-10; Matthew 5:22; Isaiah 39; James 4:16). God's ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). The way that God blesses us at times can come in ways that you don't expect. For example, Jeremiah got blessed to buy land from God while he was in prison (Jeremiah 32). Don't speak against God trying to bless you in a way that might be above your level of understanding. When Jeremiah was blessed in the prison, God's glory shined in the presence of the other Jews in the prison. God will get all of the glory. When you curse others, you
can curse yourself because you reap what you sow (Prov. 26:27; Galatians 6:7-8). Death and life is in the power of the tongue (Prov.18:21). God wants you to be relaxed during the storms of life, paying attention to what is in your mind, speaking life, praying for others, thinking about good things, forgiving others, not worrying, not being anxious, not confused, slow to anger, quick to listen, humble, gentle, slow to speak, trusting in His Spirit of love to love, joyful, hospitable to strangers, and merciful to others (Mark 4:37-41; James 3:10-13; Ecc. 2:14; Matt. 5:43-48; James 1:19; Matt. 5:1-16; James 5:16; Phili. 4:8; Prov. 15:1; 2 Tim. 1:7; 2 Cor. 10:5; Matt. 6:25-34; Heb. 13:2). I give God my weakness, and I allow Him to make me strong by the storms of life and by leaning on His Spirit for strength.

The pastor who stated that men are not “emotional” slipped back to his default misogyny, because he stated earlier that men have a lot of “anger” and “toxicity” (all of which are emotions) which makes it hard for them to show gentleness! But when he said that women should not desire men who are already walking in their purpose and have already reached a level of financial security, because those men will see women as an “accessory versus a necessity,” I was done hearing him! As usual the messages to men and women are shrouded in misogyny and the blame is shifted to the women even among “Christian men!”

3:27 The standard is higher for you, the Pastor, than it is for your congregation because God's Word says it is. I'm not trying to be divisive, I'm just pointing out that your calling holds more responsibility and holds more weight with God. I'm not against being encouraged to level up, I enjoy it but the pastor is called to lead the congregation whether they follow or not.

So many, treasures to be trained by. To speak to the are we called to the evolution of a man question. I can only speak for myself but I have walked blocks, in circles, long windy roads and even the green mile with brothers and it seemed that my consistency and compassion only turned into excuses over adjustments. Of course I self examine and ask myself what could I have done differently and governed myself accordingly , but I must ask is there possibly a double standard whereas men expect an already polished version of us and at the first sign that our humanity is displayed we are accused of not being a team player, too emotional, moving too fast or too slow or labeled as non supportive?. These discussions need to be had so with the same grace we want to receive for ourselves we can release to others.
WE the People, let's come along side our Brothers in Prayer and Agreement... this video needs to go viral for our Son's sake, "SOS-Save Our Sons!"🙏🏽 Pray for them as Sons, Brothers, Nephews, Uncles, Husbands, Fathers, in the name of Yeshua Ha Mashiach (Jesus)! It’s so hard to give your opinions on anything on the internet without receiving negative responses so I feel required to give a disclaimer with my comment.
As with most things, I can agree and disagree with the things that these gentlemen are saying. I need to study further and understand a lot of what they are saying. They use a lot of metaphors and opinions to explain things. I’m not saying that they are right or wrong. I’m just saying that I was always taught that I need to read for myself. Just to be clear I appreciate what this platform gives though.

It's not wrong to question. More importantly, take it to the Holy Spirit with what you heard. The Lord shows us these things. And it's common with panels. Things we agree and will disagree with.

Man I'm so thankful for this. When looking for guidance in marriage there is always a point where it seems like people assume the man isn't close to God, isn't doing his part, doesn't have vision etc.. insert miles munroes power and purpose of a man. Not that growth and responsibility arent necessary but sometimes you can have someone that isn't willing to love the man where he is especially when he's creating open space and being vulnerable. It's encouraging to not have the typical checklist of things the man is falling short on and know that there is more than one part of the relationship
