Hi Kimmie!! Thank you so much for your sweet compliments!! You made my day! Not sure if you can tell but on the last clip at the end, on the right of the TV, there's a metal ladder that holds my special cards and your's is right center... the one of the beautiful painting that you made for me when my Dad was sick is always there. I always read and it brings me much joy and comfort. It's also a beautiful peace of art work!!! Talk about talented.... Hope and the family are doing well! Love you back dear friend! 🥰❤️

Hi Doris, glad to see that someone as talented as you still has to frog once in a while.😊 You got a lot of projects done, that’s great. Bring the sweaters with you when you come to visit, it’s still cool in Maine.

Hello Doris! I'm so happy I found your diaries :-) I'm working on my Snow Crocus as we speak, and your tips were so helpful. The alphabet stitch markers are genius for something like this! I'll admit, I was intimidated by the pattern at first. I even tried to find a similar pattern that was seemed less complicated. But I just loved the sweater so much, and had recently taught myself to cable without a cable needle (an essential skill, IMO!), so dove right in. I did take the time to read the pattern all the way through to understand the work flow (it's a little different than typical top-down sweaters). I'm also planning to modify the sleeves - my arms aren't long enough to carry the big cuff, so the balloon part will hit around my elbow! Instead, I'm planning to work the balloon part right above my wrist, and then just an inch or so of ribbing (inspired by the sleeves on Andrea Mowry's Framed sweater). I did do the folded collar and just love the structure. I'm using Camellia Fiber Som DK (a blend of baby alpaca, cotton, and merino; supersoft and light!) held with La Bien Aimee Volute (laceweight cashmere and merino), both in a creamy white. After seeing your lavender version , I'm thinking I must do another in that color :-) Looking forward to your next update!

Hi Annette! Thank you so much for your lovely comment!! So happy to that you watched the episode!! I just looked up the Camellia Fiber Som DK and La Bien Aimee Volute and that combination looks absolutely exquisite!! Now you have me tempted to do another one with those yarn choices and color and with the folded collar 🥰! Are you in Instagram? Would love to see your final product! I'm hoping to film this weekend as I just finished the WIP I referenced in this episode. Look forward to chatting more! Happy Making!

Lovely to see you again. It's been over 100 F in my garden over the last 2 days so I've been sheltering indoors knitting. My daughter and her friend are expecting babies within 2 weeks of each other early next year so baby clothes are on my needles x

Hey Lynn! So happy that you always take the time to watch and leave me a lovely comment. Truly brightens my day! Smart move on sheltering indoors with this heat!! So exciting that you are knitting away baby things for your daughter and her friend! What a nice journey to be pregnant at the same time as your friend and only 2 weeks of each other' s delivery!! Wow! Can't wait to hear what you end up knitting for them! 💕🥰

@@TheKnittyninaDiaries Unfortunately my daughter miscarried in the early hours of this morning. We are all feeling devastated as she has already suffered the loss of a baby aged 7 weeks and a stillbirth in the past. We really hoped this time would be a winner
