- Mason Ho arrives back in Indonesia and heads to his beloved Desert Point. This time he brings along young North Shore phenom Luke Swanson. They meet up with a few rippers, under lords and sensei’s along the way.

@AnonYmous-be9vw hell yeah! I'm from the south and live here but I graduated from evergreen in olympia! Maybe one of the few based peeps to go there. Played soccer for the college. Had a blast. Wish I woulda surfed while I was there but the best snowboarding ever. Aloha to you my brotha!

4:49 during my five trips to Indo, during mostly the mid to late 80s, I rented car on Bali, took the ferry and drove out to Desert Point in 89' and 91' for 3 days each time pre Surfline. Had to bring all our food and cook it ourselves, and camped where we parked our car at the end of the road, which ended around the point north of the wave. Most crowded session was 6 guys. That guy Paul was camped there both times right in front of the break with his friend Nick, and another guy I can't remember his name right now. But honestly, it was too primitive to sleep on the ground, and I preferred to spend most of my two months each season at Hu'u, where there were cooked meals and a bed to sleep on LOL, and Lakey was more my type of wave. And back then Lakey was very uncrowded. I did expore other spots on Lombok as well and found a few good ones.
Camped there myself with 2 mates and Nick , actually met Nick at Lakeys . Stayed at deserts for 4 weeks
First track is filth . Vien is haryanto- funky children. I come for the tracks and stay for the steez. Cant wait to be in Lombok and Bali in October.
