From the chilly waves of Bells Beach, the men and women of the WSL World Tour turned their focus to Keramas, on the island of Bali, Indonesia, for what is now officially the world tour's funnest event. STAB's Ashton Goggans tags along with Mason Ho and Rizal Tanjung at Bali's most famous wave, Uluwatu. Then he's back over to Keramas, where Josh Kerr tees off event number two of the Red Bull Airborne Series. Finally, we get some local cooking lessons with Leonardo Fioravanti and Carissa Moore. It's interesting to see the people Kelly hangs out with, and those he does not. Always see him with the likes of John John or Jack Robinson, uber talented, humble, pure surfers.
I remember going in Bali around 2005. Even if then, it was already well known as a premium surfing destination, I'm glad to have seen a not too developed Padang Padang. It used to be free to go down to the beach for example.
Now if some people want to see some relatively untouched areas there's Nusa Penida or Lombok.

9:10 I saw this crazy layback barrel from the shoulder that day in the lineup. Mason you are UNREAL I can't believe the quality of surfing in the water during these sessions. Videos do not do it justice.

look they have constantly some people around them.... I am constantly alone..... everywhere and with everything.... I am so dislocated and isolated that when I organize something to be around a few people for a week or two I fail to integrate the group and be okay there.... and then the week is already gone and over and I am sad........ because the only chance I had to connect with people is gone and replaced with shit and nothing
because here every people is occupied and has no time for me....... and it sucks... the only people I get to meet is the ones that gaslight me, and don't really befriends me or are bad for me
@@fredericmoresmau4303I'm in the same boat mate. Isolation doesn't help and make us out of touch with what regular folks interest are, increasing again that difference that is definitely not appealing nor attractive. What I do is focusing on me and my goals and getting to it step by step. I love to surf and sadly can't do it as much as I want, I'm trying to build a lifestyle around it that will fil me with joy and experiences and eventually be happy by my accomplishments not through people.
