It does look like an amazing campsite! Absolutely breathtaking! I can't get over those rock formations. Reminds me of a campsite we stayed at in Namibia called Madissa camp in Damaraland. Ahhh brings back memories!
Hey guys... Back from Namibia. Had an awesome time. Loved Spitzkoppe. Thanks for your advice. BTW rusks are only eaten once dunked in tea or coffee :-). Still think it was a small bug ;-)
Hey! So glad you enjoyed your time there! Yeah, I mean we figured, but to be honest I tried to dunk it and still nearly broke a tooth :D In fairness we live in England... our bugs pale in comparison :D
Loved those moonlight shots ....Also the drone footage. Amazed to see the blackbird type birds waiting for "crumbs" (Hulking great hard rusks it seems !!!!) and a lovely Collared Dove, I have a bunch (flock) who come for tea every day !. The cave /wall paintings are just dumbfounding...how the hell have they stayed there so long ? Would love to know what the guide thought of A's frilly nightie/dress/top = a kinky way to show off walking boots ?? !!!!!!
Spitzkoppe is something special, it was our first stop in April this year and had nothing to compare it to, I said guys this might be our best or worst camping spot we have no idea. We were at the same campsite, can't remember which number but we had an amazing spot which just felt very spiritual with all the boulders around us and we found this area with a very old tree right behind it which we used as the bbq / campfire spot.
Hey Victor, if I remember correctly then it depends on where you are in the country (e.g. not in national parks etc) but I encourage you to check wherever you're going specifically
Problem of camp sites there is that one you like most is not the best for morning drone flight. And choice is so huge you can not decide easily. I found site 1 is the best for sunrise video.

Thanks so much for subbing and for the lovely words! Agreed, nothing beats sleeping under the stars :)
Great video and camp site you also need to try The farmhouse campsite in the Matopas hills Zimbabwe. Will definitely try this camp in December 2019.
Thanks so much, and thank you for the recommendation! Just looked it up and it looks dreamy. It's been added to the list!
hi guys looking great, by the way, is it allowable to camp not on camp cites if they are all booked and full? thanks

is spitzkoppe accessible via car?
