Hi Nick, it´s always nice to watch an overlander like you having a braai over a fire at the end of long driving and exploring day. I´m always curios about what other people eat when they go camping. We like to keep it simple in this regards; some meat, butternut with feta and spinach or with garlic and mushrooms, or just some Oklahoma Burgers with lots of onions. 🤩

This post takes me back to my last camping trip when I switched to using Asmoke for the first time. I was a Traeger user previously, but Asmoke's portable pellet grill changed the game for me. The temperature control was far superior, within 5°F, and the grill was lighter and smaller, making it perfect for my camping adventures. The rechargeable battery lasted for the entire trip, and the convenience of being able to adjust the temperature remotely and monitor food temperature was a game changer. Plus, the wood pellets added a distinct smoky flavor to our meals that was just unbeatable. Switching to Asmoke has definitely enhanced my camping trips and I can't wait to take it on my next adventure to Spitzkoppe! #Asmoke

Hi, I hv been following you for your Namibia tour. Our forth coming trip next yr will be Keetmanshoop, Deadvlei, Walvis Bay, Swakopmund and Spitkoppe, kind of a loop. Besides the last 4km towards Deadvlei which I'm aware requiring 4x4 drive, can the rest of our journey as listed use 2x4? We intend just to take the shutter bus in Deadvlei. Because I feel is not worth to pay for 4x4 car just because of that little 4km stretch of our estimated 2,000km. Tks

I've always been an avid camper and outdoor cook. I used to use Traeger+ for my grilling needs, but I found that Asmoke has truly changed the way I do outings. The battery-powered portable design of the Asmoke Essential makes it a game-changer for camping trips like the one to Spitzkoppe in Namibia you've shared. The precise temperature control and variety of flavors the wood pellets offer, makes the food taste incredibly delicious. It's also environmentally-friendly, which is a big plus for me. The convenience of not having to be connected to the grid and the ability to monitor food temperature remotely via the app, ensures a hassle-free grilling experience. It's lightweight yet efficient, making it the perfect companion for outdoor adventures. It's safe to say that Asmoke has significantly elevated my outdoor cooking experience. #Asmoke

Never realised you were so fit!😀RTT all the way - no scorpions or cobras! We have three ground tents - remain unused. Clamshell RTT is the way to go - 30 seconds up or down but most are not as spacious as yours. BunduTop is nice but expensive just press a button! We combine our RTT with a gazebo on the ground for cooking (you can't always braai due to weather) /wind shelter and shade. Works well.
