I am looking forward to going back 😄 Do beautiful 😍 It was great to meet you face to face 💓 Next time I hope we can spend more time together, I am thinking about renting a vehicle so I can go off on my own and see things 😊 We'll see. Thanks so much for watching my friend. Take care 💓
For your clip board. Add a couple dots of hot glue to the back and it will help it from sliding as much. You can also do this with silicone dots that Dollar Tree does sell. A shelf liner will work as well or carpet slip mats. I hope this helps anyone reading this
Thank you. Your projects look like a high end country store item. I love it when a project is completed. So many home projects they look like they are home made because they didn’t add those little high end touches. I would buy them at any store.
For your clipboard just put a pick of bubble shelf liner or a silicone mat that you may have that you put your curling iron on. They are not expensive but you can find them on clearance you don’t care about the color🦩
I love all of them! The gingerbread people are super cute. I make Christmas trees from rustic gingham with quilt batting on a skewer mounted on a wood round to put them on display. Each are different colors, sizes and styles for a cute little forest. I'm now living full time at my small cabin off grid property in Missouri so we'll see how much gas I want to buy this winter to run the generator and fire up the glue gun to make more crafts! 😂🤣 I'm sure it will be worth it. Texas Deb ❤️
Donna, what beautiful and imaginative crafts. I liked the little gingerbread man. You could hang the clipboard from a mail in the wall and secure it that way. Thanks for sharing.
All of your diys turned out so beautiful! Your gingerbread man is adorable! I tape my strips of fabric to my surface, then braide!😊 Your bells are so cute!❤ As always, thank you for sharing all of your hard work, creativity, talent, and inspiration! Stay safe, healthy, and positive! God bless you and your family!🙏❤️🇺🇸😊🌲
Such cute projects Donna! I love the candlestick. I would never have thought to do that but it looks pretty easy. Thank you so much for these great ideas. 💗💗💗
Aw, thanks so much Helen. I was inspired by my trip to Ohio. So many Primitive looks, I couldn't resist 😄 Thanks so much for watching my friend. Take care 💖
Hi, Donna!! I love primitive style and farmhouse, even though they are different from each other. Loved all that you made. Ohio is a great place to visit and I'm right near it in PA. Loved all your crafts today. My favorites were the jam jar and the candle. Really pretty. I have made different country ornaments over the years and my tree in my dining room is filled with all homemade and handcrafted ornaments. I look for new ones to do each and every year. Love to make them for my tree and friends and family. Tysmfs!! 🤶🎄🎅❤⛄🌲❄
Donna, I love them all! I'll be making the stuffed gingerbreads and the candles at the end. I bought the candles for a project and ended up not using them so now I can use them! The candy canes would be adorable on a smaller scale to use in the gingerbread's hand! I love the bells you made. I'll have to look for those around here. I live in Pennsylvania so you weren't too far from my area when you visited Ohio. Oooooh that pot pourri looks cool! Thank you so much for these awesome ideas!
I was actually in Pittsburg as well 😃 Such a beautiful city!! Oh, that would be so cute having the candy cane in the gingerbread man's hand, great idea!! Thanks so much for watching Valerie. Take care 💖
Hello Donna. The gingerbread man was my fave. Although the other 2 were very cute. Was so good to watch your video. Glad you and your Mom had a fun trip to OH. I'm looking forward to see what you'll create for us this Christmas Season. Take care and God bless 😊
This is going to be my 1st Christmas doing a Primitive Country Rustic theme. I have always loved country but after following Country Charm by Tracy I really love her style and watching you also incorporating things in nature. I love all the projects you did. I have quite a nice selection now of homespun fabric and I think I'm going to make some of the gingerbread stuffed ornaments. Actually I'll make them as bowl fillers. It's such an easy pattern to do freehand and because I've been sewing for at least 50 years I think I can do this. Wow did I just say 50 yes I did and it's unbelievable but true. I would like some more projects using pinecones in them if possible. I have so many and different sizes. You must have enjoyed your trip to Ohio. There's nothing like shopping country crafts with the Amish. I use to go to Pa where I got so much inspiration and ideas. I love the light and candy cane you made. I just love working with fabric and I also coffee stain mine. Thank you Donna for sharing your projects and highlights about your trip.
Sounds wonderful Doris!! I love all things country for Christmas, it's so warm and cozy!! I'll be going foraging again here this coming week, so I will gather more pinecones and come up with some ideas. That's awesome, 50 years of sewing magic 😊 The gingerbread man will be a breeze 😉 Thanks so much for watching. Have a wonderful weekend!!! 💖
Hi Donna ... l love all of these .. I'm going to try the gingerbread and the canning jar .. love them .. Thank You for sharing Your talent with Us .. hugs 🧡
My fav was the gingerbread man, but I love the candle too! I live in Independence ,Ohio and am about an hour from Lehman's hardware. What an amazing place to visit! You had to have passed my house to get there! By the way, I've never told you, but my all time favorite craft you ever did was the cabin you made from the Christmas gingerbread houses from Dollar Tree. I think you put moss and bark on it. It was the best- ever!! Thanks for sharing your creativity!
Ohio was amazing! I can't wait to visit again 😄 That's so cool to think I was close to you 😃 Lehman's was so fun!! Aw, I am so happy you enjoyed. I am planning on creating another cabin this year, trying something a bit different, we shall see 😉 Thanks so much for watching and your kind words. Take care 💖
Your creativity never ceases to amaze me. I think that just about every diy craft I have ever seen you do is so clever and beautiful. I admire your talent.❤
I love your videos Donna and I love all the crafts you made today!! I was sad when it ended so I decided to watch it again.😊I love love love them all. Do you and your daughters do crafts together? Take care and God Bless y'all always
Aw, you are so sweet Lisa!! You always make me smile 🥰 Surprisingly, no, we don't craft together. My oldest doesn't craft, and my middle does different things than I do. Thanks so much for watching . Have a great weekend 💖
If you want to make a template that works both ways. Just fold the paper in half & cut it out that way. When you unfold it then it'll be a mirror image. thanks for sharing these ideas.
I ❤ what you do! I also love primitives! I used to make primitive items and sold them at craft fairs, but it wasn't really a style that sold well in my town. Ohio was a great venue, though. I was in Kentucky. You are my favorite on you tube!!!
Aw, thanks so much, I truly appreciate your kinds words!!! 🥰 I am so glad you enjoyed. I am loving Prim more and more!! Thanks for watching!! Take care 💖🤗
I love all your projects they look awesome. I’m definitely going to make the gingerbread and I’ll do some other shapes too, I think they look great. I don’t have any old fabric but I’ve got plenty of new little squares and they are really too small to do anything much with so now I’ve got a use for them. Thanks for the inspiration.
I was looking at the bells… I thought they were so pretty! Then I thought… I’m going to try and make some out of my medicine bottles! Maybe put some wire for the hanger in some modeling clay, joint compound, or maybe a bottle cap if it fits. Just an idea.😊
These are so cute! I love your candle remake (I use some like these in our house all year long as night lights), but I have not made any like this before but thanks to you I am going to! ☺
Hey Donna! My favorites, you know I can’t pick just one. They are, the fabric gingerbread man and the candle stick. Love those. I’m definitely making them both. Enjoyed the video my dear. ❤️💜💚
Hello Donna! I don't decorate in the primitive style, but I really love your take on it! All of these projects turned out so perfectly!! I saw the tag on the bottle of oil that said Holmes County, and I knew that's where you were in Ohio when you were describing it! I LOVE Holmes County, and always try to pass through that area when I go home to Pennsylvania to visit my family! Thank you for another great video!
That's awesome!! Such a beautiful area 😍 I am so happy you enjoyed. I figured a person could definitely make these and give them a different look to fit their style 😄 Thanks so much for watching Lori. Take care 💖 🙂
Hello. I love your crafts and live in Ohio. I'm glad you had a great trip. I was curious about the name of the craft mall you went to. I want to be sure to go!
Thanks so much!! I actually don't know the name, but there was an antique mall and Christmas store right by it. I can't remember if it was right in Amish country or just outside of it😉Hope that helps. Thanks so much for watching. Take care 💖
I was touring all over, and we did a big loop through Amish country. We did stop in Kidron, went to Lehman's 😉 Such a beautiful area!! I can't wait to go back and see more of Ohio and what the other surrounding states have to share 😄 Thanks so much for watching. Take care 💓
So cute!! I think my favorite was the potpourri jelly jar with the eyelet lace and a little stuffed gingerbread man.
These turned out so beautiful Donna! I’m glad Ohio provided so much inspiration. I have loved living here for the past 6+ years. 🥰🤗
I am looking forward to going back 😄 Do beautiful 😍
It was great to meet you face to face 💓 Next time I hope we can spend more time together, I am thinking about renting a vehicle so I can go off on my own and see things 😊 We'll see.

Loved the candle and the gingerbread man.
Love them all but the gingerbread man is my favorite! I’m a primative girl too!
I liked the dress form the best. Thank you
Must I pick only one favorite? It's impossible! However, I will choose the candle. So adorable and ready for any shelf, counter, dresser or table.
Yay! Thank you!💖🤗🌲

Another great area in Ohio is Hartville, Ohio. There is a great restaurant, gift shop called Hartville Kitchen, Owned by Cousins.@@creartivebynature
When you came to Ohio, did you make it to Shipshewana?
No, I didn't 🤷♀️
Can we order the potpourri?
I don't know since I'm not from there 😉
Here's the business name:
Homes County Potpourri.
Hope that helps 🤗
Thanks for watching 💖
Leave the inside lid off, and you will get the aroma through the fabric.
I didn't put the sealing lid on, I only used the screw top to hold the fabric in place. I wanted the aroma to come through the fabric.
Question?? Did up fly to Ohio; if so, did you get flagged going through the X-Ray with the bells in your suit case? Just curious.
Yes, I flew!! I had no issues at all!! But, I can't say that would be the case for everyone 😉
Thanks for watching Denise 💖 I hope all is well 😊
