Objective of this video is: - keep a video track of the vacations! - test the magic air 4K video capabilities & workflow - test the overall workflow (working with proxy!!!), including sourcing (and editing) the music, rush management, editing, color correction and lessons learned
Lessons learned - most of the vids I have done were with the DJI. I'm fond of pics and take quite a lot with mirrorless. But I don't master the mindset switch between video and photo. Curious thing... - then, the composed vid is all about aerial frames. It thus somehow lacks a story. Considering the videos made by DroneMyLife, I clearly see that the aerial frames are more used as pinacle of the sequence - I still need a ramp up in shooting with the drone. Some rushes are not smooth to the extend that I would like to reach - Somes parts of the vid are not very fluid. Likely something with the post-prod. If someone can guide me... with pleasure - I shot most of the rushes in D-cinelike + reduced contrast & co in order to increase flexibility in editing + testing color correction. But I see odd zones where the colors are not popping. Might be the effect of 8 bits - use proxy on Adobe Premiere for editing 4K!!! -> thx Grain for the tip!!!!
