What’s really insulting is that Lily is supposed to be your average, “girl next door”-she just happens to own a flower shop. So, Blake Lively thinks this is how the average woman dresses. She thinks we go to work in Louboutins and frumpy, miss-matched clothes. How out of touch can a person be?

The style was effortlessly disheveled & frumpy!! The styling for Lily was awful. It did look like shapeless sacks put on in the dark. I was so shocked that Blake styled herself for this movie. I always admired Blake’s red carpet style. Not anymore!

Look, her first boyfriend was homeless so most of the time she dressed like a homeless person because she missed her boyfriend. Why she did not look for him then as an adult is a mystery, I guess she was meant to be very stupid. Anyway the dressing is genius and good job for her. I know she is not a likeable person but give credit where credit is due.

All her outfits in the movie were so bulky and huge…..it looked like she was trying to cover up some baby tummy fat through the whole movie. I actually thought she was pregnant during filming and had to look it up. Nope, she wasn’t.
no way! I thought she was pregnant the whole time...I just thought they were trying to mask it with the bad fit.....how unflattering. I thought she looked too old for the part..and she was pregnant throughout....like they should have recast...since they couldn't postpone filming around her pregnancy.
I thought a lot of the pieces were really pretty and interesting.

I thought the narrator’s humor was appropriate & I agree with her opinion on the awful styling of the movie. It was the worst styling I can recall… and it was definitely a crime.

Isn't she afraid in the book that people wouldn't take her seriously if she opened her flower shop because of her name? Then why would she wear florals all the time?
I can admit, i didnt know much about Blake other than the 'nice dress wearing wife of Ryan Reynolds'. I'm not a fan of all her poor behaviour that has been brought to light.
From a purely costume moment, if we are to assume the character's husband is controlling and abusive, it would have made more sense for her to be covered up - and if she was genuinely a florist, practical shoes would have made more sense (say, wear the same boots with almost every outfit in the film).
These are the outfits that she was bragging about in the press tour? first she anoints herself as intimacy coordinator, and it seems like she didn’t do a good job considering she was uncomfortable with Justin Baldoni. And now I hear she was the stylist of this movie, and these are the outfits she’s bragging about? I don’t think she’s as good as she thinks she is. please Blake next time leave it to the professionals.
Okay my eyes are burned right out of my sockets upon seeing all the terrible clothes she styled herself and wore in the 7:02 movie. Don't even get me going on the hair because my eyes are damaged from seeing the clothes 😅

The Britney Spears dress looked good on Britney as she is petite, the ankle length on Ms Lively just looked wrong it was too short for her and she looked like she was stuffed into the dress. Britney wore it best.
I’ve seen people speculate one more reason why it’s shorter is because they cut off the bottom to add another panel on the side so it would fit Blake although her team claim they didn’t alter it.

I don't understand the "hate on Blake" trend. I know she's made some missteps in promoting this film, but I think there's too much unjustified hate out there currently. I see she's being used here as an example of fashion dont's, which is fine, but some of the commentary in this video is personal and harsh.
Sarah Jessica Parker has been dragged endlessly about her style ("That hat is werid") and now she's a fashion icon ("That hat is whimsical!"). I couldn't stand her wardrobe on SITC. Sarah Jessica Parker is not Carrie Bradshaw and Blake isn't whatever her character's name is in this movie. I guess effortlessly chic is in the eye of the beholder.
It's what Blake asked for. She doesn't want us to focus on the heavy DV topic but instead her clothes and hair. And here we are! Turns out it's horrendous to the eyes.
You made some good points, but in the movie Lily looks more like a bag lady or a welder than effortlessly chic. The comments for this video really should pertain to the clothing & styling & not all of Blake’s misdeeds.
