Cannot unlock all hulls so each nation gets a unique hull.
Enemy Spain 1930s tech
Your enemy fleet is one of the classes chosen by a random number generator
(Just Google random number generator) and set it to pick a number between 1 and 6 (1 being BB and 6 Being torp boats) the number you get determines what you are facing 50 off.
Also, scoring will be
BBs are worth 6 points each
BCs are 5 pts each
CAs are 4 pts each
CLs are 3 pts each
DDs are 2 pts each
There is a bonus 10 pts if you sink all enemy ships.

I misread the first screen, and now am imagining a French giant Baguette vs 50 ships of the Spinach Empire.
Well, I know you're not the only one... 'cause me too 😂
Ahh yes the spinach Empire and their valuable ally Popeye
Now that's what I call an oversized, overly expensive AND overly complicated Heavy Cruiser
So very 'Murican, yet French
@@tachyon8317 In fairness, French had some extremely complex designs for a lot of military vehicles. Or in some cases their military doctrine was not that great. I mean if we look at Tanks. You had a commander being the Loader, Gunner, Commander, and amazingly didn't ask the man to be the driver. Also, being how French Radios were utter shit or nonexistent. A French Tank Commander had to hop out of the tank and either using handsigns or flags to direct other tanks. Basically, taking him out disables the tank without destroying it.
So an overly complex Battleship with enough firepower to be take out an armada. Pretty French.
Not a CA; it's a pre-dreadnought built with WWII technology.
Called "Super Heavy Ship", they are very slow, expensive and oversized. In reality, such vessels first fired with one fire, and then fired a volley (which made it incredibly hard to hurt from recoil)
Super-heavy tanks, too, helped by the fate of slowness, and the fact that the soil and infrastructure could not withstand them. but they had over booking and over power
Good lord - bonus points for sheer endurance! A mighty design indeed.
Not to forget about the man himself!
The legend himself :)

"And in today's replay, the Excessive is running a secondary build that would put any other Tier 9 battleship to shame. Granted, she only has fourteen inch primaries, but honestly she doesn't need them in this case. Yes, she's only a fast as a Standard US Battleship, but if you're anything other than another battleship, that's enough. Unless of course, you just run. And because that's the obvious solution to a 21-knot battleship with more secondary weapons than god, of course nobody is running."

The literal translation of "infanta" is indeed "girl" in Spanish, though it is also used to mean the female children of the king/queen (infante being the male version).
So the ship was named "Princess Isabel"
All you wanted to know about it and more courtesy of Wiki.
Infanta Isabel (1889 - 1927) was a Velasco-class unprotected cruiser of the Spanish Navy.
It was built at the naval shipyard at Cadiz. Her keel was laid in 1883 and the ship was launched on 26 June 1885. The vessel was completed in 1888 or 1889. She had one rather tall funnel. She had an iron hull and was rigged as a barque.
Namesake Isabella, Princess of Asturias
I want to add that infanta/e is only used to adress royal children, for the rest we use chico/a, niño/a, jovencito/a etc.
This ship is the embodiment of "if gun no work, use more gun"
"this should be a quick endeavor" sees the video is 1.5hrs long
That's what she's said.

The Rio de la Plata is not a road, it's the River Plate in South America. You might know it from the sinking of the Admiral Graf Spee in WWII.
And the _Infanta Isabel_ is the Infanta Isabel, Countess of Girgenti, a member of the Spanish royal family.
Yeah sure and next you want to tell us that Rio de Janeiro isnt a road but an island? xD
Never got why Rio de la Plata is translated as river plate. Unless I'm missing something river plate just translates to plato del rio.

"sinking of the Admiral Graf Spee in WWII"
or Admiral Graf Spee in WWI

As soon as I saw the game would allow Stealth to put the small secondary barbette literally anywhere he wanted I knew exactly what he was going to do.
I think it's really funny that your ship looks like it was ripped straight from warship gunner 2.
I also feel like the biggest threat to your ship would be your own crews moral. Being fired upon by about 400-600 guns (assuming each ship has 4 main turrets in either dual or quad mounts) would probably cause havoc on someone's psyche.
Suggestion: go mini _Yamato_ and have main battery turrets fore-and-aft, with tall secondaries superfiring. That'll leave you a lot of unoccupied space around the sides of that to go nuts with even more secondaries and give you potent heavy calibre main armament to your front and rear. If you're fighting a vs-50 getting surrounded would appear to be inevitable.

Hey there Stealth; just watched this video. I had a thought, when fighting multiple enemies like this again, don't focus only one one till it's dead, instead try spreading out your attacks to reduce their speed. I have seen where in just a few good hits they loose two or all three of their engines. Still very good video.
Q. How heavy do you want your anti torp be?
A. Yes
Infanta is the feminine of infante which means the non firstborn son of a noble. The term is most commonly used to refer what in other countries are called princes and princesses, that is because under Spanish Law and customs only the heir to the throne is the prince.
This means that while in other royal families there are about a dozen princes and princesses, in Spain there is only one. We refer to rest as infantes.
The name of the ship refers to "María Cristina de Borbón y Borbón-Dos Sicilias" (I think, couldn't verify because the website of the Spanish Navy is down for maintenance) commonly called "The Silly Infanta" because she was both dumb and ugly. This woman is not to be confused with the currently alive daughter of ex-king Juan Carlos I, Cristina de Borbón y Grecia.
Los españoles tenemos la manía de poner nombre de la familia real y ciudades a nuestros barcos, igual que los ingleses
@@lordtachanka8226 we also like to name them after rivers, dukes, counties and a whole bunch of 'cool' names like formidable and indefatigable etc
I attempted this before watching how he did it, and our choices were similar, though I used 5 13" quad primaries and 5" dual secondaries, with 2x 5 torp launchers with max range. I also built it for speed, only took 3 torps from them, but was down to 63% hull after I got 2 flash fires somehow from their 6" guns. (Barbette 4, heavy shells, tnt propellant). Max speed was 30.2kts. Was nearly out of ammo on the main guns when I finished the last cruiser.
Your English is perfect. In fact, too perfect. It's the only thing that gives you away as a non-native speaker.( starting at Three may as well be a native speaker imo)
I'll take the too perfect as a big compliment :)

I got this game a while back and i absolutely love it. I have recently made a super Atlanta with the British super battlecruiser hull and 8 inch guns with super heavy shells. It had a pair of 9 inch turrets in the middle and about 60 8 inch guns. I also used unlock everything and played as the US because i think the have the smallest 8 inch guns available. This thing absolutely shredded heavy cruisers and under and could even smack around a battlecruiser or two. yeet.

Wow, Stealth your accent, or lack there of, I honestly thought you were British. Had you not said you were Dutch, I would never had known.
I was convinced he was American. He kinda had a general American thing going on in my head.
About the tic tac toe vid : when torping , for better odds , you showld make a vic formation with the first plane to the target's aft and the last olane to the target's bow. By doing this , after the torpers launch , the first torpedo will hit , the ship will move and the second will come and so on. (Probably)(if the first misses , probably only the last will hit )

after the battle, the ship came back to port, with the french port workers shocked on how little major damage the ship took, but when the crew came back on land, they all quit, there was little celebration, being in constant rain of fire from overwhelming odds had led the crew with permanent trauma, they had did their job and knew that they had already served the war enough, the captain, shooked but less traumatized became the admiral of the entire french navy... though his mental state wasnt in top shape...
I know from my own experience how incredibly important it is to learn foreign languages. German is my mother tongue, English was my first foreign language, latin my second (extremely helpful for western european languages), french my third. When I lived in the NL I learned dutch. It's really important in today's world and the only disadvantage of languages is not speaking them.

Your can do both "Excessif" or "Excessive" because it's a ship name so you can name it either like a girl or a boy (as if it was a person) :)
But if you stay with the noun ship like "the expensive" you will use "L'excessif"

In the Spanish language, the letter “g” makes the “h” sound. There is also an extra letter in the Spanish alphabet in comparison to the English language. The extra letter is “ll”, which makes the “y” vowel sound.

Mandarin is going to be important for 2 reasons: 1) trade/business etc 2) warfare
Hi Stealth, speaking of learning chinese, I actually come from Malaysia, which is a country where the national language is the Malay language, business or even common language is English, and my mother tongue is Chinese. Therefore even in our kindergarten the children are learning 3 languages at the same time, English, Malay, Chinese/Tamil (depends on one's ethnicity) (fun fact lol)
For Chinese or Mandarin, maybe you can start by showing some simple characters and "pinyin", which is to use English alphabet to describe the pronunciations, like 木 "mù" (wood) , 雨 "yǔ" (rain), 火 "huǒ" (fire), etc.
There are 4 basic "pitches" in the pronunciations too: ā "it's pronounced similar to the 'uh' in 'uh-huh' but monotonous and there's a slight drag", á "same 'uh', but in an ascending pitch", ǎ "same 'uh' but the pitch descends first and then ascends back only for a little bit, à "same 'uh' but the pitch descends and ends sharply" (fun fact 2 electric boogaloo: one of the keyboard input methods for Mandarin is the "pinyin" method, so it can be quite useful when typing on PC or laptops)
After the basics, then you can start with some simple phrases like how to describe oneself: 我是... (I am ...) and etc...
The tricky part would not just be how to pronounce properly, but figuring out words that look similar but contains different meanings, like 云 "yún" (cloud) and 运 "yùn" (transport, or move something from A to B).
Well that's to say if you really want to dedicate one part of your brain (or Quinn's in this case) to understand a completely different language system tho. But if you do, all the best man!
Thanks I guess?
