ABOUT ME
My name is Linda, I am a wildlife photographer with a passion for gardening.
I have been gardening since early childhood. I have a small 90m2 garden in the Netherlands, but it is my dream to own a big piece of land with a cottage garden, a large vedgetable garden, orchard, wildflower meadow & forest for wildlife.
On this channel I will show you my garden all year round and will give you gardening tips about pruning, planting, sowing, growing your own fruits & vegde and more.

Your garden looks absolutely amazing. I used to live in Amsterdam, I had no idea the Netherlands had a gardening zone nine! I was definitely in the wrong place lol
Thank you so much, I'm glad you like it 🙏🌼😊 The Netherlands is zone 7-9 it very much depends on the location, closer to the sea it's more 7. I am in 8b, but we've had -18c as well around 10 years ago.

The larger ferns on the terrace are "Dryopteris Affinis" and the ones on my table are "Polystichum setiferum 'Herrenhausen' They are both quite easy to look after and actually do well in the pots, but the ones in the garden have grown much bigger. I will check every year if they need repotting and add fresh compost.

I don't know exactly what variety my boxwood is, I already have them many years. I clip them once a year to keep the dome/ball shape. I shared a video how I clip them:

Hi Linda beautiful garden and happy Christmas . Could you tell me what the bird feeder was that you were feeding the meal worms into? The caged design looks great, at present most of my meal worms are being taken by ingenious magpies and in Spring starlings! So they are failing to reach my target audience: robins!

Hi, I was only wondering the other day whether you had been able to sort out your hellebores fungus that your plants had last year.
Hopefully I have it under control, but will only know when they start flowering. I think I will spray them with sulfur again, I only need a dry day to do it.
Hello. When and how will you prune the hydrangeas. They are beautiful now.
