They all do it brilliantly, It's hard to choose one Aimie - The original Queen Sam - Has lots of Riffs Courtney - Has the Young vibe to K-Howard Jodie - Emotional K-Howard after what she went through Allcia - The scream/Cry at the end to show she's being beheaded Vicki - Deep tone in her voice Georgia - Screams the note, But goodly Sophie - Mature K-Howard, More Britney then Ariana Personally my top 3 are Aimie,Jodie & Sophie
Im sorry but I'm partial to aimie. The anger and emotion in her voice just kills me. All of them are emotional but i just love aimie so so much and her voice kills me. All of these ladies kill it though!
Personally, I love Aimie's overall performance the most (and you chose a really nice picture of her!) but I think my favorite delivery of "fairest of the fair" is Alicia's
honestly 1. Aimie (I love the roughness in the bite and of) 2. Sam (I saw the broadway bootleg and she was so good) 3: Courtney (she’s like a more softer version of aimie)
Honestly, I think Jodie was the best. Mostly due to the fact that the way she sings, reminds us that not only was she 18 when she was beheaded, but a lot of the stuff those men did to her, she either didn't want, or was too young and naive to know better and was taken advantage of big time.
I love the way she lets the last bit slip out with so much emotion and it really seems natural. I’ve seen her live and she’s incredible!! But I love all of them and I couldn’t pick a favourite
@@liamholsgrove1404 I was meant to go see her in Dublin but sadly cause of Covid it was cancelled :( so I'm compensating by watching recorded versions of the UK tour cast ^^;
PLEASE listen to this version of Samantha's all you wanna do.ua-cam.com/video/Yo2pFiPJK3Q/v-deo.html It was doring an actual show and the acting is **chefs kiss**
For me, it's hands-down Aimie, Jodie, Sophie. Aimie's raw emotion was fantastic, that *growl* in her voice sounds damn near amazing. Jodie's conveys the hurt and sadness and confusion, it's unfiltered and sounds raw in a different way to Aimie's, but I love it just as much. And then Sophie's has this childlike essence to it that adds to the trauma Howard went through, and I love her variation on the riff, the change would've been enough to do it, but it compliments the atmosphere of her performance so much I just can't-- However - Alicia is a close fourth. I don't know what it is about her performance that I like so much, but it's definitely there.
actually the I heard the live version of Sam Pauly singing AYWD and hers are most likely to be emotional too (like all the sh-- and the bs she've been through, she's like cracking up, that's my explanation for that) the ones that was used here was kinda unfair but I can't blame the creator if the live version of her AYWD was taken down in that time
my favourites were definitely Aimie, Vicki, Sam and Courtney. Courtney is so underrated (in my opinion) and I love the way she sings this song! But they were all amazing!
This clip doesn't represent Sam's intense emotion and power since she was just doing a cover in her bedroom, in the actual performance I think she is as good as the rest, if not even better
My Top 3 are: 1) Alicia - You can hear the pain in her voice. It’s like a beautiful cry for help before meeting her fate. 2) Jodie - You can heat so much emotion in the clip; and it honestly breaks my heart. 3) Sophie. The reason I like Sophie’s is because it’s more britney to me than Ariana. And that isn’t bad at all! I like that it’s a more mature take. Also the love the way she sings “Fair”!!
I love Aimie and Sophie, they are amazing. But everyone did such a good job and they can certainly do it much better than most people, so props to them!
Sam is by FAR my favorite. Not necessarily the recording here because it isn't her stage performance, but my god the raw emotion, pain, and anger she puts into her performance at the end outranks everyone else by light years for me. (They're all amazing, don't get me wrong. Her's is just my personal favorite)
I'm gonna be honest that isn't the best recording of sam Pauly (there are actual videos on stage going around youtube that show her performing it rather than just singing it) so based on that is how I made my decisions: 1. Jodie Steele 2. Sam Pauly 3. Sophie Issacs
it’s unfair that Samantha Pauly’s one was her bedroom cover since in the show she puts an INSANE amount of emotion into it. She is by far the best K Howard, voice wise and emotionally.
I'm going to be honest, I don't know which one did it best. The original cast recording has gotten me so used to hearing that note hit perfectly, but at the same time there's some of the others in this video that pretty much slammed the spirit out of me. I just want to see the day when I can finally pull off arranging Six in 6 Minutes and find a way to put each cast to the test.
My personal preference is Courtney, (largely influenced by the fact that I saw her live and was completely blown away by her performance of this song. I can't get it out of my head, it was really powerful) but they are all amazing!! So impressed with all of the singing talent and how they can each take it and make it their own.
You should have used audio from the actual Broadway production and not her tiktok video as on stage Samantha killed it with raw emotion and feeling. Her stage production is my fave by far
I personally enjoyed Samantha Pauly’s the most, but that was in her bedroom and the only recordings of her for the show keep on being taken down. She has the best emotion and vocals in my opinion because I can tell when she sings and when she doesn’t, same with the rest of her fellow cast members. Aimie in my opinion is pretty good and Alicia was outstanding, but Sam takes the cake for me.
This happens with every musical though.. Plus its not comparing in a bad way, people are just saying their favourites, they're obviously all great singers.
I've seen Courtney in the Syd 2020 run, and the new Howard, Chelsea Dawson now in 2022. Both were incredible live. She was already set to be taken over by Chelsea mid-Melb 2020 run, to start Frozen, but the Melb 2020 run never even began.
i think a live recording of samantha pauly would’ve shown how much more emotion she conveys in the show than one of her quarantine covers. other than that, i really can’t pick a favorite!
Hey everyone! So shocked and happy how this video has turned out, what video would u like to see next??
PrickUpYourEars The high note in “Heart of Stone” or the ending note in IDNYL

The “I Don’t Need Your Love“ Riff would be awesome!!

I really like when the Howards' do the third "only thing" differently, Sam has a really good example of that in her stage version.
You can never take away Aimee for creating all of the original cues for queens to follow but I am a HUGE Vicki fan!!!!
my favourites were definitely Aimie, Vicki, Sam and Courtney. Courtney is so underrated (in my opinion) and I love the way she sings this song! But they were all amazing!

Aimie and sam are perfect for the role.

it’s unfair that Samantha Pauly’s one was her bedroom cover since in the show she puts an INSANE amount of emotion into it. She is by far the best K Howard, voice wise and emotionally.
Who sang it best?
Well, all of them.
You can't beat the OG. Aimie just does things with her voice that no other K Howard can do.
Aimie’s famous growl ! Aimie will always be my favorite k Howard but every queen brings something different which is the magic of this show
I think I Georgia is amazing especially as this is her first major theatre role and she is still young, an inspirational lady with great pipes 😊💖
but you can’t deny that all of their voices are BEAUTIFUL
There is one live recording of Samantha and tbh is one of my favorite versions of All you wanna do

Alicia nailed it Murdered it cooked and ate it for breakfast

I don’t think u should have put the cover for Samantha Pauly when she’s on stage it’s much better there is so much raw emotion in her live stages
This did not do Sam Pauly justice that was her bedroom recording not her actual emotional one
This is probably an unpopular opinion but my favorite is Vicki! I just really love her voice and I think she put so much emotion into it!
