My playthrough turned into Overlord-like gameplay where I manage my Followers by giving them decent gear same Tier as mine, both Melee and Range weapons (don't give em throwables like Molotov) and also Food with buffs because my character was already lvl.99 for a long time so it's kinda overkill to some Zombies, dungeon was chill as well with all of your 3 Followers taking the agro while you are dealing massive damage but turn off the Friendly-fire. Also that Loot Crate seems like the item level varies depends on which part of the map you are in. The closer you are at the Spawn area the lower the Tier of drops are. Like I only got Tier 2 Uniques when I chose to build an Outpost in Military Base which is close to my Spawn Area.
i finally started playig the 1.0 version lastnight. i wanted to go to dif base local, but its middle of map and basically impossible day1. i settled here instead as ur video showed. i heard u mention a playthrough. so here i am, i glad cause the animal trap tip u gave is huge. that said i did go back and reload game boosting resources x3... i really dislike how little we get choping trees, harvestin animals etc. i think the looting is fine. i only made it through 1 game day so far. but i felt like i was getting enough loot at moment.. so i figure i get base built up i may turn x3 down to x1 or 2 before i go back out in world looting. maybe it doesnt effect looting..... i find out lol.
and yes the material grind is, can be huge turn off for this game....... i feel so many games focus to much on realism forget its a game meant to be fun.... challenging is fun sure. but i personally dont want to chop trees, beat on stone mounds for real life hours on end..... devs build a big, open world, live world. ready to be explored. yet the same time they want u to spend 80+% time ignoring all that and beating on inanimate objects.......lol wtf?
Thanks man! keep the vids coming!
Thanx, their wasn't much more to getting started and rest seams standard after so not sure if any problems or tips would be needed.

Ya, capturing and trying zombies to do the gathering would have been the way to go.
