They are all smiling! Nice to see!
They are glad. They are alive
There smiling because camera man said smile
One of the dudes still got a broken leg playing soccer high as a kite
Some people are unbreakable. In means of faith for the country as of sacrificing own health and life. Perfect soldiers. Meantime they on the top cheers with whisky and caviar.
At least they could muck around with nurses. It says a lot about the shear waste of that mad war.🇬🇧
They were so young.....
happy to be alive.
WW2 was undoubtedly much more horrifying than WW1. But what made WW1 so terrifying and deeply traumatizing was that it was when the world first ever saw a war at such as destructive scale.
It's unbelievable to see how they smile while showing their wooden legs...
eye for an eye.......for every soldier that losses an arm, a senator/congressmen/president or vice has to lose one, for every one that dies...same thing applies......there would be a whole lot more negotiations from both sides if this was the fact
wars boost economy since start of man kind it was always invade or be invaded
Rich mans war poor mans fight
@@spideysensestimewasted3692 so if we get rid of money, no war ? 🤔
War is a given when it comes to humanity. But if those who authorized and encouraged military conflict stood to physically lose as much as those they sent to fight, you would have a whole lot less military conflict. That has been a truth of humanity since the beginning.
Here you go, Private - a plastic leg. Now, get back to the fight. I want to see a smile, take example of your wingman with artificial head.
Exactly(
SALUTE!
Amazing to see! And amazing how much prosthetics have advanced. My grandfather was a Spanish- American War vet, with his right leg gone all the way to the straddle, as well as half of his left foot. He had an artificial leg that was made mostly out of cork, held on with a complicated harness. He was pretty amazing, as he could drive (using a stick!) , plow with a mule, and just about anything else he wanted to do!
War never should of happened this is a cruel world.
Blame the royal family for his war
Which royal family? WW1 involved many monarchies, on both sides of the front line.
The kaiser, czar and king were first cousins.
@@slimphotog The Austrian Kaiser was not as close related to any of those 3. And he started the war.
Very interesng, as i work as an orthotic prosthetic technician.
This is so sad
War is good for nothing
Because prayer only works on cancer and tests you didn't study for.
They're so beautiful, praise the Lord
❤All the male amputees in this video are beautiful. They look very handsome pushing the wheelchair and also walking on crutches. The size of his stump in his pants looks divinely sexy...hmmm...❤
What a different attitude they had compare to now
People now a day would be self pitty
i remember this 🥲
