When she got tired of my reports and complains about his son she told me on my face that she chooses his son over me. My heart was broken as I am an orphan and that for my in laws, i was a disgraced. I went through all five stages of abuse, financial, emotional, spiritual and physical, that was my last straw. It was hard and painful got my strength and i filed for divorce. I am happy.
It's funny that for women It's easy to dump a broke unemployed man than leaving an abusive man, I still say it's a choice no demons or fucken spiritual involved.
...All I can say is that if you haven't experienced abuse, you wouldn't know how it feels to be in a victim's shoes. It's not an easy thing to experience, you can't leave until you're ready on your own accord. We live in a society that still practices patriarchy and honestly we still have a long way to go because our justice system is messed up and perpetrators don't go around written "ABUSER" on the forehead! I don't expect you to understand my tears, but you can take this as a learning curve to help others out there.
