Great midsize watch from Victorinox!
I think you will find more men buy this than women. The standard mens version is 43mm, which is massive
Just purchased this exact watch, and it looks and feels great on my 6.6 in wrist. I agree with some other commenters that this watch would be better described as unisex. Thanks for the review.

I have one since like 2 months. I love it. Very versatile indeed. My 17cm wrist works great. I wish there was a bracelet version though.

I'm not so sure, maybe looking at the label. But VSA DM500s and Inox watches, including the quartz Maverick are just massive watches in thickness. the 37mm is traditionally sized. Those with tiny wrists might approve of this. I know the DM500 comes in a ladies 38mm-ish as well.

I would definitely consider buying one for myself as the men's version 50mm+ lug-to-lug would hang over my wrist and just look plain silly to be honest. Does anyone know the dial width mm of this model?
It's funny that there is literally nothing lady-like about the box, or any of the included accessories.
Definitely works for me! I prefer the black dial with the black rubber strap and no date is just pure class!

13.8 mm is a bit too thick for my taste anyway. Especially for a quartz.

I'am a small guy and I look like a child wearing a huge watch, so midsize is the way to go for me despite the "ladies" attach to it.

I just bought one and im so disappointed, the straps fall all the time when i put it on or out, luckily i haven't lose the needle that connect the straps to the watch, but like wtf, and i totally agree with you about the other part of closing it, i have another victorinox that Im happy with, but this one feels just uncomfortable and im hating it :( bought it for the paracord, but really not practical at all, it would fall very easy
The normal men's INOX is 43mm which is larger than most chronographs. If the lume didn't appear to be horrible it might be alright

Absolutely. There is nothing that separates this from the "mens" model other than the size. In fact, I would argue that this is a much better size for the average sized man. The 42mm full-size is a beast.

Not sure I can see what makes this watch tougher than any other quartz beater. I bet a lot of watches could survive the testing process and I suspect its mostly marketing here. Or is there something unique design wise that I’m missing?
Besides the oversized case I think you're 100% right.
It's surprisingly difficult to find quartz watches in this price range with a sapphire crystal. The case is a solid piece of steel. It's hard to tell without opening the case up but I would guess that there is some vibration damping material around the movement considering how many durability tests this watch passed.

First 90 seconds staring at the box, 3 minutes (and a couple of ads) before we get to see the watch. Maybe this is just another 'douchebag' comment but that was frustrating.

It looks like a solid midsize watch. It does not appear to come on a stainless steel bracelet, though. It is a shame these are marketed as ladies watches because the size seems suitable for anyone.
They're nice but just too small for me personally. I like the 40-42mm size range.
