Wow Doc… the way you break shoes down never ceases to amaze me. How you broke down who this shoe is for was very good. Also how you talk about the cushion and who it helps.. just awesome. Thank you
Just what I’ve been waiting for. Something for the bigger centers who battle down low, fight for rebounds, and need to explode upward. Mine arrive tomorrow 💪🏼
Super surprised to hear that these have the same bounce rating as the Jordan 37 Lows. Given the carbon fiber plate and double zoom unit, I would’ve thought the AJ37 would’ve been totally beat these. As a person who values impact protection and bounce, does the fresh foam bb outperform the AJ37 lows in every way when it comes to the midsole?
Just picked up the Allstar colorway for these. Going to try rotating them with the GT Jumps tomorrow. The style def seems like something worth trying for me. Thanks for the reviews as always Zach!
Hello !! Hope you well. I am so happy the new version of this shoe is back again. Needed something good for outdoor and capable of protecting my landing. Hope you will review the new one
I've been dealing with plantar fasciitis for about 8 months now and play basketball a few times a week. My daily shoes are the 1080V12's so I was very happy to see that they brought Fresh Foam to a basketball shoe and was excited to try these out. Unfortunately the cushion was way stiffer than I expected and they were not comfortable for me at all, I returned them after one wear. May try them out again in a few months and take some more time to break them in.
hey, next new pair of shoes I would recommend walking around in them for a couple of days. In my experience this will not compromise your traction but it will let your foot adjust to the shoe and get comfortable bending and flexing in the new tech. For me this looks like wearing them grocery shopping, to and from the gym, basically anywhere indoor or with clean pavement. Doing this also drastically mitigates blisters or sore feet from new shoes.
These looks perfect for people like me (older guy) needing lots of cushioning and support for outdoor hard surfaces. Anything better ? Anything I missed ? Thanks
You nailed it 😉, I'm 6'4" 195 and your correct. They're not at their best trying to play aggressive defense with quick feet. Not saying Zack LaVine can't play defense, but just saying though 😮
Dr. Zach, Basketball player Zach, i mean it all makes sense now. i think New Balance is my go to shoe, to me they almost can't do no wrong. at 45 i'm too old to worry about what's cool
I just got the fresh foam myself, but only have a couple of hours in them so far. I compared to wxy v2 and v3 in-store. The big difference to me was that the fresh foam were clearly more plush/impact absorbing on the ball of the foot. Heel area felt rather similar from what I could tell.
Thanks Zach, had my eyes on these for the cushion since the release but the grip issue is a big one. How would you rate the cushion aspects on these vs the way of wade 10 and the lebron 19 low?
Dr Zach, I have flat and painful arches. Outflared feet with a 2E width. Painful heel too. What are your recommendations for everyday use and basketball(mostly indoor).
kinda crazy to label a 200lb NBA player a "big man" relative to the players he's competing against. As far as NBA players go, he's light and fleet footed
New Blance doesnt know how to make a PLAYER LOGO?? Kawhi, Murray now Lavine, how can an ordinary Person identify their signature shoe.. Is it really that hard to draw a logo,

Zach reviewing Zach’s shoe is exactly what I needed today
Congrats to Zach for getting his signature shoe that he deserved
It's not his signature shoe.
@@RafaPoke24 pretty sure it’s bate
It’s pretty much his shoe, like the Omni is considered Kawhi shoe
@@dallinnevitt_444 it's not

You know he's really legit when someone just whips out tech equipment. Thank you.
Loving the new 360 camera shots, great way to show off some drills and skills!

Probably the nicest looking New Balance basketball shoe so far for whatever that’s worth. The grey colorway that just dropped today is pretty nice.

Pretty sure this is not Zach LaVine's signature shoe no more than the Zoom Separate was Luka Doncic's signature shoe.
Great breakdown! Would you ever review the New Balance Two Wxy V3?
Any chance you can review the two wxy v3??
Just picked up the Allstar colorway for these. Going to try rotating them with the GT Jumps tomorrow. The style def seems like something worth trying for me. Thanks for the reviews as always Zach!
Can’t wait to try these on
Great informative video Doc! What about the Kawhi 3?
Can you give us a bi-weekly review of a retro/older shoe, like the Reebok Question or Lebron 9 or something? Great idea, yeah? 🫡

NB Fresh Foam BB or NB Two Way v3?
Which is better from NB, this or kawhi 3?

The socks in the refrigerator is an interesting trick.
Check out the video i linked at the end it gives more detail on how to maximize it
can you review the byw select?
Thanks for the review, Zach.
hope there's a solid outsole version that fixes the dust pickup issue
Would you say that these feel more plush than the two wxy v1 and v2?

Hey Doc, would you be reviewing the Harden Vol 7
Diadora b icon 2 PLEASE!!! loved your take on their first edition

What shoe absorbs the most impact or shock like really good for concrete and protecting the knees?
Can u try the new balance two wxy v3
I feel like the bottom part is a bit narrow compare to two wyx, is there any stability concern?
Can you do the New Balance 2Wxy V3
Quick question, do ou think the Lamelo ball mb0.2 are good for tennis?
Thanks Zach, had my eyes on these for the cushion since the release but the grip issue is a big one. How would you rate the cushion aspects on these vs the way of wade 10 and the lebron 19 low?

Can you make a review & comparison for wade all city 11, wade 808 2 ULTRA V2 and Way of wade 10.
Is this NB best cushioned bb shoe? I only have the NB Kawhi 2 which h uses fuel cell, it's definitely not bad but not amazing.
can you try new balance hesi low?
One thing surprising was you saying these catch a lot of dust, mine barely gets dusty and i play a lot on a dusty court
🤷♂️ the images don’t lie
Did I miss it or did you not tell the Durometer spec of the outsole?
Forgot to add it- 17.8
Can you review more addidas shoes
can this tennis? (on sale need a dual shoe for both bball an tennis)
Cant wait for you to do Kawhi 3’s and the Jayson Tatum 1’s in April 🤑
Sounds like a good first try and I'm curious what the next iteration will bring.
I dare you to review the air force 1
Puma Rise Nitro - the shoes Mac McClung wore in the dunk contest.
How’d you get access to my hard drive haha
@@FootDoctorZach mine just arrived and they definitely fit snug. I could go up half size.
@@FootDoctorZach very stretchy and comfortable. Will fit true to size after all.
can't wait for the ja1 review considering he's a similar player to zach lavine
Damn Zach, you bout to make me act
I have that effect on people
Great Review 💪🏿🧠

There gotta be some conspiracy with how he hasn’t even mentioned the two wxy 3 since they came out
I would love to see a review of the New Balance 996v5 and see how much it differs from the v4.5. Looks like they made some significant changes.
In my bag now
No Harden Vol 7 yet?
If NBA has DR.J, at here we got DR.ZACH
Lol nice
Thought that’s were hiking boots
Definitely a good looking shoe.

these aren't a signature shoe, they're the new balance team shoe
Adidas lost superstar why did not Adidas gave him a signature all the very best to Zach lavine for this figure out what he actually deserves
New Blance doesnt know how to make a PLAYER LOGO?? Kawhi, Murray now Lavine, how can an ordinary Person identify their signature shoe.. Is it really that hard to draw a logo,
It's not his signature shoe. He just promotes it or whatever until he gets his own. Does not have his name anywhere
This is NOT his signature shoe.
Is this really his signature? It doesnt have his name and honestly he doesnt deserve one
