The blue car at the beginning was a Renault 16, the rear lamps were from an Anglia Estate. The blue car at the bottom of the long drop looks like a Hillman Imp. RUY looks like an Austin A40 or 1100. Bxx 546 looks like an Austin A30/35. The van at 39.30 is a Transit. The boot handle at 41.00 looks like a Ford Prefect.
Oh wow! There is not enough money on this Earth to persuade me to go into that cave! That being said, watching you explore it from the comfort of my bedroom was very enjoyable. Thank you, for another great video ❤
Thank you for taking us along on this adventure. It did not look like a very comfortable outing, but it was really interesting, and I appreciate your effort.
Good job. I would have used some more rope and climbinggear just to be on the safe side. It is also recommended to always go with someone who knows the cave, to have at least a bit knowledge about selfrescue on a rope and preferably go be 3 People. Ever tried to get a hurt person out of a cave? One can stay the other can get some help. And always inform a thirdparty about what you do, where and when
I think the story is a local used car dealer would dump unwanted inventory down there to avoid paying taxes on them. This cave has been explored, trashed, graffitied, and then voluntarily cleaned up by youtubers. I wish someone would get a big electromagnet and yank the trash cars back out.
That triple side vent on that submerged van at 39:38 is most definately an early Ford Transit probably from the mid/late 1960's. Your companion from Lost Mines was spot on until you became convinced that it was a Bedford!
"Ghost towns and mines of Washington" is a great adventure. You should expand on your adventure, there and maybe other UK sites. I look forward to you going back, be safe there is only one "Si Finds".
That car dump has been on SO many UA-cam videos already. Still good to get your take on it though. The underwater camera elevates it above the other videos I’ve seen.
I just watched the coal tip slide in Cardiff the other day. How devastating. Watching miners digging up their own children. Then to see everyone coming together to help. Very sad story.
Great video as always. Actually insane how many cars are down there. The film The Descent always pops into my head when I see a cave and think maybe not. 😂
Awesome, but very scary caves. It was very interesting to see all of those vehicles way down inside the cave. After putting a few down there it probably got easier! This shows how evil these mobsters could and can be. Thanks Si I appreciate what you do and I am interested in more of this content. Have a fantastic week ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
wow wow wow love this...Exciting Exploring.... Love Si Finds and Love lost Mines so you working doing the exploring together is Fantastic Yippee... Hope you do so many more together 💓
NOPE, NOPE, NOPE!! Would never catch me in the slippery, claustrophobic, hell!! This was very interesting, though!!! Hope you had a couple pints after you got topside!!❤❤❤
I am to claustrophobic to follow you,but I ❤you.Si- barrells could mean toxicity, so don't touch water.Did you notice that small van like had the steering tied by a rope, thats scarry.
My dad can identify any (20th century) car by just about any part on sight, having driven and worked on them since the 60s. By the way, that first angular car glimpsed at the outer entrance looks like a Leyland Princess from the 70s. I'll get him to watch this and perhaps he'll ID those cars that defy analysis😊 Great video, guys! I'm having technical difficulties so this might show up twice

The misty and clear waters on top of one another is the misty water ie either salty of mixed with chemicals which cause the difference in clarity. Seen it in many diving videos such as the cave where I went to school in Malta, video on YT. At certain depth the water was fresh and underneath was sea water. I’m claustrophobic but still enjoyed this very much. More please and an explanation of how that stuff got there assuming many tunnels leading to the lake. Thanks for sharing another great video, more like this please.
I wonder if there was any truth to those rumours, and that really is the last resting place of some unfortunate souls. Tantalising stuff, a very different explore, loved it. Please, both of you, be careful! You both bring a lot of joy and viewing pleasure, education, revelation and endless, intriguing speculation to a lot viewers, week in, week out. We need you in one piece! Pity Ioan wasn't there, maybe next time. Si, do you reckon Cuffs would have liked this cave?
I just about gasped when I saw the two of you prowling through all that rusty metal with no gloves on. Please take precautions and use PPE! I depend on you for my Sunday adventures! Yes, I'm a safety NERD!
Really enjoyed this video somthing different. Only thing would have loved to of seen you both climbing back up ! Thank you again looking forward to to the next adventure
Absolutely brilliant Simon, couldn't believe how many scrap cars were in there, when the RV was under it was so eerie I expected something jumping out!! Lol. At least you didn't see any skeletons.
I’m claustrophobic & hate spiders so this was tricky for me to watch. Please give spider warnings. There’s such a fascination to show spiders & webs but it’s a nightmare for me. I can just look away if I know it’s coming. Otherwise great video. You always keep it interesting ✌️
Awesome Si ! really enjoyed this, I hate enclosed spaces and heights too, but this was brilliant. I dread to think what might be in any of those barrels 👀.I have seen some of Lostmines videos before , and they post some amazing stuff. Thanks guys , stay safe 👍
Fantastic video! Watching you two vertically descend was a bit nerve racking, especially when you advised there was no more rope! Glad you made it down and back up that dodgy firehouse safely! The ROV footage was totally worth it. Thank you!!!!
Absolutely brilliant. What a treat you got. I've subbed to his channel, so interesting. Using the underwater drone is so cool. Thou shalt always be known as guffing away silt from now on. 🤣😂✌🏻👏🏻👏🏻
That car definitely isn't a 2cv, those down the bottom look 50's/60's although there was an even older looking chassis by where you spotted the fuel can.
Considering the lax rules about dumping in landfills in the 60- 70s. I dread to think what it'd need to be, to merit dragging out to an old mine and chucking in a hole.
We humans are wretched creatures. To take something so beautiful and throw a bunch of trashing in it is horrible. The sad part is we never learn from history. We just keep doing the same horrible things.

my legs would be shaking too climbing down into that pit. glad you survived! thanx
It was brilliant taking you underground Si
Thanks so much guys! Looking forward to the next plunge!

How did they get those cars in there?? You don't have to be scared, I'm plenty scared enough for both of you!!
So a friend of mine used to frequent there.
There is an entrance at the top that the cockles were pushed into the hole over the years. A pit
Two of my favourite UA-cam channels working together! Chuffed! Looking forward to this!
Right off the bat, Si sees things he can upcycle into useful items! Cheers
haha you know it
🤣
I am voting for some real climbing gear and roping in I think they call it. Too chancy! We want to keep you around and unbroken!!

Cheers Tim, Al suggested a Bedford or Transit
Beautiful scenery, cool caves. You're spoiling us! Love from across the pond!❤
Cheers Teresa - a crazy adventure!
I love watching Si finds, I feel like I'm on my holidays 😊
HeHe, I hope you don't spend your holidays in a cave lol

Love the face on the wall! Watch out for falling rocks and falling Si!😳
Another imaginative video. Where will you go next? The moth at 11.30 was a Spring Herald they overwinter in caves
I just watched the coal tip slide in Cardiff the other day. How devastating. Watching miners digging up their own children. Then to see everyone coming together to help. Very sad story.
Agreed, a terrible tragedy
Al asking how they got a boat in…me asking how did they get cars in?

OOOh i missed that, must've been to keep the wheels straight whilst rolling it in!
Horrible thing to do to the environment, but who knew back then. Makes for an interesting adventure today. Thanks for taking us along
How did they get the cars all the way in there?!? Creepy but super cool.
They rolled them in from the top as seen at the begiining
change is good but i prefer your mudlarking.

Great video. I wonder what might be cast in that concrete. Then all the cars layed on top. Along with what looked like sealed drums.
I heard of the Kray brothers in the 80s from Morrissey/The Smiths, "Last of the Famous International Playboys"....🎶🎶❤
Very interesting underwater video,thanks!

should talk with the land owner and a salvage compny, you might get a lot of views if you claen it all out
That was too freaky Si..@27:05 I'm seeing a skull..just briefly cos you went fast past 😮
5°C would preserve any skeletal remains. Wetsuit heaven and a tea break!😊
Brilliant video 😊👏
Good morning from Michigan.
Morning lovely!

Bloody ell you were brave down those ropes this was fantastic great info too thank you 😀
I’m related to the krays through my Quinton ancestry. Thanks for sharing this vi
How on earth did someone get a car through the mines to get them piled up there ???? ❤️🙏 Thanks for a different kind of mudlarking .
There's another entrance at the top that they shoved them all through.
@N_Norse oh, I couldn't imagine how they pushed a car through that small space in the mine .😅 Thanks.
Thanks Si!
Cheers Debbie
That was good but so spooky😮
This is spooky
Hell on earth have been down here cleaning all the rubbish from other explorers
The spider was Meta sp.
One of the cave spiders.
That car definitely isn't a 2cv, those down the bottom look 50's/60's although there was an even older looking chassis by where you spotted the fuel can.
Look to bit scary down there Great video Guy's 😮

Has the cave ever been dived on. Maybe you could dive on it to find bodies?😉😉
The car with the 3 letters BOS 546 looks to be an amphibious car that can go into water
It's amphibious now 🌊
I'd guess the room was a toilet rather than a tea room.
Good shout, maybe the rust was the old bucket
Wonder what you could pull up with a magnet ?
Ok that looks creepy as hell and maybe a killer hiding in the dark! 🤣🤣🤡
The Bucca's!!
I’m sure that was amazing seeing that b, what is the reason for dumping cars and junk down there and how they get them in there.?
😊🤘🇨🇦
Looks like the town dump.
Did you find out who owned the RUY car or at least report finding it there to the authorities?
How did they put all the cars there? Were there better way in for them?
Considering the lax rules about dumping in landfills in the 60- 70s. I dread to think what it'd need to be, to merit dragging out to an old mine and chucking in a hole.
Yes, very thought provoking....
Maybe there are bodies in those barrels!
Just be safe!🇺🇸🙏❤
How did they get down there through those small tunnels. Doesn’t make sense
How did the cars get down there? The passage doesn't look large enough.
They were rolled down from the top when it was fully open, now it's clogged up
@@Sifinds thank you for taking the time to tell me☺
