- We’re HYPED that Xander and Xcalius are returning to Beyblade Burst…..BUT…there’s been so many changes man. SOME of those changes aren't too bad, though. The Bey has obviously gotten the Hasbro QuadStrike makeover, so you're disappointed and not surprised, or you've come to accept that this is what we'll have to put up with seeing in the anime. The new Power Speed Launcher is pretty impressive compared to other Hasbro launchers! It gets a couple of new modes and feels pretty solid when launching it - it kind of blew us away to be honest.

We obviously have mixed feelings about the entire QuadStrike series, but we can't help but get hyped up when we see our boy Xander back! It was nice seeing these in local stores. The packaging looks nice to be fair, but the product within it....that's up to you to decide hahaha. We were surprised by some of these doe! Don't sleep on that launcher if you're using Hasbro setups right now!

I remember the days of not just Evolution, but in Turbo when then if they were pretty way more nerfed, the still had resemblance and at least had some gimmicks still

Early evolution releases were actually good. Legend spryzen was so good and had all the details and looked just as good.
They were actually good in switch strike. Turbo was their downfall when they released fafnir.

I'm not a fan of xcalius's color but for what it's worth it's color choice and I assume lack of paint is so the red plastic lights up in the blacklight arena they made this year. Actually it looks pretty decent under a normal backlight, lots of orange.
I think that the difference between power and speed mode is the gear size
With a bigger gear on speed mode allowing for a smoother launch, and a smaller gear on power mode giving more RPM
The sword somehow got smaller than the one before it, honestly I can’t say anything except **Damn**

I imagine the difference between speed and power mode is like having the different gear on BU launchers.
so the gear is smaller on power so it has more rotations and the bigger the gear on speed mode makes it skip teeth less

Nice video, as always. Since beybalde burst series has now ended you should do a seriea where you take a bad part (like : shot driver, Lucifer's chassis, quest...) and make a competitive combo with it.

I would like to just have the launcher. I have not bought any Quad beys. They just do not look good at all. It was very funny that I saw the set in my store and I was wishing I could see a video about it. Perfect timing and a very cool video!
This is basically the gimmick of the original Sword Launcher from TT but dual spin, and built in the launcher instead of the winder.
They made every plus tips wider so tht they could move around the quadstrike stadium, just like hypersphere

Unpopular opinion: Xavier should make a comeback. Ngl when I didn’t see him in the anime again I was kinda disappointed at the waste of a perfectly good and potentially better character. Still, pretty cool and happy to see Xander, but honestly Xavier should make a comeback :(

I'm confused at this release. Hasbro already did a Xiphoid Xcibur. I think it was in Surge if I'm not mistaken- it had a "sword" driver that transformed into a flatter mode, to ride those ridge rails that Hasbro surge stadiums have. And the layer even had the sword extendy thing, as useless as a plastic version is. Very weird that they adapted the same Beyblade twice, one in two different seasons.

In all honesty, I wish we'd had one more season of beyblade burst to do burst BU. That way all the BU beys could have been done justice. But at least they seem to have some similarities when you compare the BU beys to their hasbro counterparts

Hasbro to me just doesn’t make good beyblade stuff anymore. I don’t like the Hasbro line of burst beys after Evolution going forward, it’s made to be cheap and easy to sell unlike TT. Quadstrike for me is a no go just cuz it’s riddled with Hasbros cheap tactics. I’m only slightly hopeful the anime doesn’t suffer .

Power mode is for the attack beys. While the speed mode is for the defense/stamina beys.
It doesn't have less teeth just a different gear ratio

Hasbro is just really losing it. Idk why they are doing this. If they want money, they should at least make it better quality but it doesn’t have to be as good as Takara Tomy.

It is because of the main bey, well specifically the tip sword qs! as we will remember, the sword' isn't a very good driver because of its iron/steel tip. Because hasbro is hasbro (They dont put gimmicks and *Metal* ) The sword driver doesn't now contain the iron/stell/metal on it's tip and definitely gonna have more stamina!

@@arandommodderandrandomgame8724No that's not really how it works lol. Xcalius is still extremely light and Xcalibur is Critphoid on a mundane driver. Reading your arguement, you're basically saying Sword' isn't very good because of the metal tip, remind you -- metal tips are a good blend between Attack and Stamina. The thing which makes Sword' really terrible is it's height, scraping, and design that nullifies the stamina. Despite this, it still does okay.
Now the thing with "plastic tips" being really good at stamina... can you tell me when Survive was ever being used in meta combos? They're not, and the tip of Xcalius is wide flat ball-shaped akin to a flatter universe. Doesn't really scream good stamina to me, then again I haven't really seen the full video itself. Again, this would end up just like Ifrit vs TT.

here's a proof that Xiphoid Xcalius can win despite it's light weight (see at timestamp 13:46) yes I know that Xiphoid Xcalius loses the second round againsts Xiphoid Xcalibur but atleast it wins one time to it's tt counterpart giving a chance that it can possibly win sometimes by spin finish/stamina battle

This is one of the least worse releases, the nerfed Xiphoid blade isn't half-bad and the Sword attachment has some crazy movement in the stadium, and the launcher is... okay, but eh... Xtend+-Q was a weird choice and Xanthus-Q is a massive joke.
