In this video, we're taking you down memory lane, highlighting some key features in all of the Sword Launchers that have been released thus far and doing a brief test with each one! The Beyblade community was introduced to the original Sword Launcher back in 2016 and it's come quite a long way. The Power Custom Sword Launcher LR is the newest evolution of the Sword Launcher and it mixes it up a ton when you compare it to its predecessors. Does newer always mean better though? Takara Tomy is constantly giving new launchers higher and higher power ratings, but that doesn't guarantee your Bey will spin longer than your opponent just because you're using these launchers.

I really hope that Takara Tomy releases a blue version of the Power Custom Sword Launcher LR for left-handed Bladers such as myself, cuz it'd be so awkward for me to hold that thing with my right hand and launch it with my left hand.
I got the original Sword Launcher when Dual Layer was coming to a close and hype for God Layer was building. It was so hard to use the Power Mode at first and I remember hurting my shoulder while training with it. Good times indeed. XD

What I like about he OG Sword Launcher is how minimal it is.
Sword launcher is literally the true best launcher since it cam literally launch any burst gen bey and give it some solid power
The newest Sword launcher broke after literally an hour of using it carefully for me. Left spin still works but right spin is borderline unusable now. Even my Digital Sword Luacnher lasted longer lol
@Migger After like the 6-10th launch it started grinding gears hard in the right spin mode. The launch got seriously weak after that
Same here, had the thing for one week, and it began skipping on right spin mode only but not left. Were you able to fix yours?
@@sexygothgorrilla Not really unfortunately. I think it's mainly caused by the fact you launch the heaviest bey (Xiphoid) with the right spin mode and the gears are just nit strong enough to hold that weight
The new Hasbro sword launcher that comes with xiphoid is actually pretty good some how
The new sword launcher is way better than the others in what it is meant for. It might not have the best stamina, but it has the power! And it was meant for attack and with a driver like quick or extreme, it will go crazy!
The digital one is actually the strongest on average, but the bu one is way more durable
So for the digital laucher if your problem Is with the clicker/clutch you can take apart a proto launcher to take the clutch. If your problem is gears you can buy replacements from beys&bricks.
One of my hasbro starter launchers is actually really strong, it's just rare to come by

Funny how the original one ended up being better overall. I got a string launcher for my recent Black Master Diabolos and for sure its way better than the original launchers, though I have to watch my pulling as I don't want to yank at the cord. The pro series launchers from hasbro feel...better than the original of course, but overall feel small in my hand. Now for sure, I will pick up maybe the new one just purely on L/R spinning.
The 5 second trade off from the new one compared to the original would be worth in my opinion due to its versatility. Also at the end of the day as you said, its not always about the most powerful launch as not all beys are the same. Good video, thanks for uploading information on current as it seems a lot of sources are rather dated on youtube.
You can actually flip the ripcord over and it won't go in as far so that's the control mode, I only know this because I literally just got mine like an hour ago

I know this'll be my second comment but the newest one has a control mode, flip the rip cord over, the fins won't go in therefore less teeth to pull with so less power boom control and power mode all with the little flip of a cord

For me, I might be pulling too hard, but when I pull as hard as I can when using DB Beys, I feel a... shaky feeling coming from the launcher, but when doing a control launch, It feels smooth.
No, it breaks WAY too easily. Easier than the Digital one almost

@@Azrael713 What lol? Ripcord launchers break all the time especially if you're using dual spin ones and use heavier beys on it. The newest sword launcher broke after 20 MINUTES of mr using it and being very gentle with it lol

My db sword launcher sucks, for right spinning beys it always skips gears and not as powerful as a regular db launcher but with left spinning beys that never happens. And I bought 2 of them and they both have the same problem
Yo, same problem, but mine skips left now as well, my shoots are powerful and i play a lot, and the launcher can't handle that

STANDARD TYPE BEYBLADE STADIUM
OR
DYNAMITE BATTLE BEYBLADE STADIUM
Standard is better overall. DB stadium kills the fun of attack types and aggressive defense types. The center area is to deep and the outer ridge to steep. Everything likes to scrape in it and it's near impossible to get a decent pattern launch. You get most versatility and more fun matches with the standard even tho it's a little smaller.

Hi all, my sword launcher came with the Xiphoid Xcalibur but the part where it clips onto the bey, mine only has one side, the other side is smooth, it doesn't hold the bey properly, is mine a defect?
