This is crazy. I thought I was lost but pushed through and I definitely understand a lot more than I thought I would. My taste of music is very different from the examples he shows, as a matter of fact most of the music I want to learn use a single scale and it's repeated constantly. Most musicians definitely don't know what they're playing. They can play but don't know why the scales work.
This analysis presupposes the 3 halfstep distance between the scale root and the chord root is maintained through the progression. Why is that presumed? Back when we played 1-4-5 starting with Ionian, you had the scale root change along with the chord root, which was enlightening. Now the roots are different, but the distance is constant. Will this get messy once key changes are introduced?
went through all 23 lessons before this one to get here! Looking forward to it!!

where'd everyone go...
Pace definitely slows down overall in the course once the finger charts come out.
It's complex yet so simple. Fingering/practice seem to be deterrents😂
