    I didn't join initially but I'm glad I did. It was a great experience! It was definitely the most nerve-racking game I've ever played. It took a while for the adrenaline to pass after that crazy sequence on 18

    I must have missed the rank up 😳
    Also at 11:30 that’s partially correct but the main reason is that in spins way right so you don’t have to worry about hitting the pin. The pin also isn’t too close to the fringe for it to be a concern.
    The reason for spin at 19:06 is also because you can launchroll if you hit fringe, sending you to the back of the green.
    At 50:13 that likely would have been a hio if it didn’t hit the fringe on the second bounce, instead hitting the start of green.
    Also 10k subs wow, you are definitely one of the pioneers of this community. Congrats!

    Also I know some people are ethically against it, but it may be worth turning an adblocker on JUST for these kinds of recordings.

    BTW, you can set an audio monitoring device in OBS. I like to run all the audio through virtual audio cables and then monitor all the outputs as one. I know sometimes it can be a bit difficult to make the audio sound alright without being able to hear it.
    It's not entirely necessary but it's what I like to do after streaming a bunch of tournament matches for osu.

    I think on Hole 14 with ANY type of good or decent wind it’s worth going through the trees and not straight. I’ve only ever gotten two albatross’s and they’ve both been on hole 14 bc of a fire shot through the trees

    3:09 I was curious about whether it's ever correct to be confident that a set goes to game 3, so I did some basic math. I'm assuming that the set format is first to 2 wins, with a tied game 1 or game 2 leading to a guaranteed game 3.
    First, let's pretend ties are not possible. Assuming the teams are evenly matched, P(CAN) and P(USA), the probability for either team to win, is 0.50. With this assumption, the chance of the set going to game 3 is P(CAN) * P(USA) + P(USA) * P(CAN), which is 0.50. This chance only decreases if the teams are not perfectly matched, so it is never a higher than 0.50 probability of going to game 3.
    Let's say that there is some probability of a tie we will call P(TIE). If the teams are evenly matched, then P(CAN) = P(USA) = (1 - P(TIE))/2. The chance of a set going to game 3 is P(CAN) * P(USA) + P(USA) * P(CAN) + P(TIE) * (P(CAN) + P(USA)) + (P(CAN) + P(USA)) * P(TIE) + P(TIE) * P(TIE). If you graph it, it's easy to see that this is equal to -0.5(1-P(TIE))^2 + 1. IDK if I'm allowed to post links here but here is a desmos graph code if you want to visualize it zkylznlqhq.
    Conclusion: You can be confident that the set goes to a game 3 if you believe there's a high chance of tying. It takes about a 0.69 probability of a tie in order for there to be a 0.95 probability of a game 3, but it only takes a 0.37 probability of tying for there to be a 0.80 probability of a game 3.

    the cloud save exploit is such a bummer, just learned about it. you think a bunch of high level players are actually fake ?

    • @rohanisya2
      @rohanisya2 8 місяців тому

      Ricardo/Broice and Tyx definitely aren’t because they stream global all the time. Rank also isn’t a complete reflection of skill as you need to rely on your opponents to suck, and get skill-based holes.

    • @senseigolf
      @senseigolf  8 місяців тому

      I don't see it as a bummer. There's nothing wrong with saving progress in a video game. and it helps other players . If you were to meet someone in a lobby who is naturally an infinite 0 rank in terms of skill, but their in game rank is infinite 15, you have a higher chance of winning more rank off that player. Your chances of winning are that of if you matched with an infinite 0 but your rank earned would be way higher than that. That's why I love cloud savers and finding them online 😂
