I love the son in law too, he’s extremely humble. I couldn’t be more proud of you lots
George Titusglover Thank you we appreciate it !
I just love this woman, God bless you for honoring your dad. 🙏🇳🇬❤
Watching this reminds me of just how much I love my dad and how precious it is to have him around.May the lord bless you and your family abundantly.
Good girl married to a good man. And you're blessed with good children.
Well done. Your children will surely look after you in your old age. Amen.
And your father? I can see the love oozing out of him for you all.
@Jum Jum, well said. Amen.
Amen
i really thank you for taking good care of your father. And a big thank you to your husband who shows he is a good son in law and a friend of everyone in your family. God bless you all
Nice and heartwarming. Your mum should be there. They are both old and being magnanimous is an attribute of the aged. He brought lots of stuff for her. That’s Africans for you. Am proud to be a Nigerian-American
I AM CRYING! THIS HAS MADE ME SO EMOTIONAL. I REGRET NOT HONORING MY DAD LIKE THIS !😪
Your DAD IS SO HUMBLE
Seeing this video brought me tears. I am half Jamaican. My mum is Jamaican and my father is Nigerian...I lost my dad a few years back and he was the best...reminds me so much of his kindness
I
Sorry
sorry dear
Ooh so sorry dear
@teetee me, this brought tears to my eyes aslo. Nigerian fathers are the best, the kindness they show to their children is incredible. They typically invest so much human capital (which is different from money) in their kids that makes us excel in education and life generally. As a kid, I remember my Dad spending months personally teaching me Algebra, which is one of the reason I was the best in Maths at school and University. My dad died "young" in his early 50's, 25 years ago. Never a day goes by without thinking about him. Your word, "kindness" is what comes to mind when I think of him.
Love that you told your daughter, it's not just any woman, it was a Black woman that directed Selma!
Omg! The part where your husband is on the floor helping your father try on shoes!!! I love your family they are so beautiful! 😍😍💖
I am from Nigeria and My first comment and watching your video, i watched part 1 already, Habiba, you're a daughter that every father will wish for, kind and down to heart. Please i will be more than happy if you can settle your dad and mom's issue before he leaves. God will give you wisdom to do this. Your father still loves your mom.
tboy tola ikr....The old flame hasn’t died
Honestly speaking your dad is a man of class. The fact he came to visit you is a privilege after everything that happened. However: observing his behavior from afar you can tell he has no time for material things or Western culture because he is proud of where he is coming from.
He surely is. I love the clothes wear he brought for them.
I really admire you taking good care of your father's even though you haven't seen him for so long the love and connection is still there and the children they are so humble.Kenton is such a good son in law.God bless you all💕💗
Kenton a good son-in-law? I think he's just a great guy with a good sense of humour
A very urbane man comfortable in his own skin. Well spoken. Hausa language is music to the ears.
For me too, hausa is music to my ears!!! I wish I could speak it though.😭
Stratocaster
It’s indeed
I love that you did this! This reunion video is going to inspire a lot of people into repairing broken relationships. ❤️
This is beautiful beautiful, i can’t believe non of your kids is like you , they are so reserved . You are a true daughter of your father so outgoing an full of life . Your dad is so happy to see you all . I would say you are happy as well but then you are always happy . Really like your spirit. Thank you for sharing this
Thank you for your kind words and for watching !
Secondly, in fact, what surprised me so much, is that marvellous love you show to your Father. And because of that, i pray
to God Almighty to take you more higher to another level. He also is a caring Father, but do to the family culture supremacy may
hindering him of rendering his full responsibility for all of you as a good Father when both of you were with your Mother in
New York. I also thank God Almighty for his life by endow him long life and prosperity to see all his grandchildren live. He is a
good and intelligent Nigeria indigenous citizen. I also appreciate the effort of your good intellectual husband. I wish him long
life and prosperity and more elevation too. He is a very good Husband.
Richard Alfred.
Lol! @ a coat he owned since the '60s. Your father must really know how to keep things. Apparent from the card you gave him years ago.
Classic African father...He is so down to earth.Lovely this
Such An Honor for you to Share Such A Personal Intimate Visit With Your Dad !
You’re father is no nice and kind. He’s well educated too! Lovely family. Bless you all
...your father is Beautiful...what a lovely smile he is just sunshine...
Nice to see you again with your father. If it's possible, why not have a discussion with him on life, we might learn from him..
I love the relationship you have with your family!❤️
For this that you did for your father warm welcome, love, attention, caring, honour and regard your children will insha Allah make you proud at all time of your life
You are kind and lovely mother you understand life a lot, God bless you for taking care of your dad ❤️❤️
Here is the first and second day after my father arrived from Nigeria. You know we had to go shopping because sandals will not work in this cold weather here in North Carolina ! (- : Look out for the next video Part 3 : my brother arrives from New York !
Thanks for sharing these truly heartwarming videos! Glad you are letting go of the past and embracing your father.
This is so lovely and you just won yourself a new sub!!!❤️🙏🏾👍🏾
You look just like your father
Kenton & Habiba I have ended up watching most of your videos so nice and you have done well and your dad seems he is enjoying himself which is a good thing. I think your such a kind, caring person keep it up 🙏😍
Habiba , thank God for your daddy for giving you that basic / fundamental education - Government College in Nigeria are good school . Those science subjects taught you then helped you to be a medical doctor today . Please stop being judgemental about your father , your mum was too naive about Muslim / Hausa culture .You kept saying you were all abused in Nigeria . I don’t believe that Hausa people do take care of the wives and children . It is cultural difference that affect all of you . You brother was so rude to your father his attitude shown. Your husband maybe a Philippinno was making jest of your father and your mummy was just forming it shows she still love him . She should have thought about that before marry your father- imagine she married a Jamaica / Caribbean man you know your story won’t end this way . You know what I meant please try and appreciate God and thank God for your good father. You didn’t let him share his own side story . Remember you mentioned in your other video that your mum had a lot of foreign man friends in Nigeria and he wasn’t comfortable about ... yes of course a Muslim man for that matter also an Hausa how would he be comfortable seeing your wife having opposite sex as friend. Thank God and stop portraying him as bad father. Is your other brother talking now because you said he wasn’t talking in England . Why he didn’t come to see your father?
You and your dad smile the same way. Today makes it 2yrs my dad passed, I'm emotional watching this, thanks for sharing this special moment with us...
U lucky u have your dad😰😥
I miss my dad
You have a good husband God bless your family
Thank you for sharing your family life with us. You have so much love for your Father, I also loved how your husband has treated your Dad so nicely and courteously. Deep respect fro him as he helped your Dad with his shoes. You have a lovely family. It shows in the way you brought up your children, They relate so well to their Granddad too. Thank you.
Your kids are too reserved , they aren’t the talking type. That’s cool 😎
True
Your husband is a case........such an amazing guy.
Your dad adores you so sweet
I agree, he adores his daughter
This is the best vlog I've seen in a long time. I love the connection between you and your dad. And to think you're just seeing after 25 years.. you look like daddy's little girl.. beautiful vlog..
It's truly heart warming!
After 30 years rather she said
Gosh! your heart is super beautiful and it radiates through the way you've raised your kids. Stay young at heart! The part your dad spoke Hausa and said: "we are fine, breakfast is being served" had me grining from chin to chin...Thank you so much for sharing this awesome moments with us! The UA-cam family is growing too.

Love the way you love your dad. Your husband and children are super amazing. Great man, great kids. Love u guys 😍😘😍
Your dad with you is so lovely. I was married to a nigerian for 25yrs. We have 3 kids. We divorced but not the kids. I. Encourage all of us to stay close. You can tell he still has a warm spot of remembrance for your mom. He is not ill or bitter. Thats a good thing. I see this and wish my daddy was still living. I know I am doing right to make sure my kids stay close to their daddy. Your husband and kids has done well by him. I only think he would feel better inside your home no matter to circumstances. Peace to you.
Oh Habiba, your laughter is infectious. Such a happy soul.Love your whole family.
Mercy FergusonThank you 🙏🏾
My own sister Habiba, abeg make you give daddy some pounded yam & egusi.
I'm literally binge watching these all of your videos. 😩 This is my absolute favorite channel to watch. The genuineness, love, and the high energy!
Yet, everything else gradually slows down like a regular family does. There's no faking on this channel! 🥰❤️🙌🏿😇
Wow thank you so much for the compliment!
Just found you guys...Thanks so much for this 'happy content' for me with nostalgic tint. I love your family and am proud to see what you have achieved following many years estranged from your dad. The key is getting your degree and finding a wonderful husband to bring up your beautiful children. My mother Trinidadian met and married my father (Nigerian Sierra Leone mix) in 1948 when he was studying in University Oxford. I was 4 years old when my dad took off to Germany to follow his passion for Jazz music. He married a German and had two daughters....I have one son and 3 grands sons but I never had faith, hope or trust in men as a result of the way my father left my mother and I. Watching your dad return to meet you and your mother brings back so many memories for me. My father passed some years ago . You are so wise the way you mentored your mother in preparation to meet your dad. Regarding protecting herself from the emotional attachment. Good that your mother has a stubborn nature. My mother ended up a wreck. I have spent my life protecting myself from all that pain negativity. 👏👏🥂🇬🇧
I never knew Maryam was interested in film. She’s so quiet, I thought she might be interested in computer science. I love her puffy hair. Great to see you all enjoying your dad’s stay. The generational conversations are priceless, and it’s beautiful that the kids are able to experience that.
You are such a beautiful mother and have beautiful children and a wonderful beautiful husband and you look just like your daddy you and your brother look just like him and you got a gorgeous mother beautiful mother and may God continue to be with you all
😘😘😘😘 this is the best, enjoyed every moments the connection is very strong, love the way your kids relate’s with your dad , your hubby was the bomb , I can tell you guys are so happy to have him around, your dad reminds me of my dad too looking forward to see him again after five but this time he will e coming over to MN. Thanks for sharing.

My first time watching your video and I really enjoyed this video. I have subscribed to your channel.
Habiba l love you for taking good care of your dad, l lost mine 5 years ago
Great video. Your dad carries himself with such dignity that it comes through all his actions. By the way you have this faint posh upper class British-schooled Hausa accent. Hard to detect but I can sense ut having interacted with a lot of rich kids in northern Nigeria.
Hmmmmm (-:
@@Kenton-Habiba GOD bless you, GOD bless you habiba. ...
Nice
James Jon I completely agree. She reminded me of a high class posh Northerner. An accent hard to detect unless you have lived in Nigeria. I love it!
Habiba....your energy and spirit and positivity and love draw tears from my eyes. What a woman you are? What a husband you got in Kenton? What great kids you've got? You are a rear human. Thanks for infecting me with your positive spirit and energy. I completely agree with your reasons for leaving Nigeria. I know what you talking about. But its great you had this re-union with dad. I thinkyou both loves each other so much, its written all over you both. Enjoy your life as you are.
Olaoluwa Thank you for your comment and for watching! Come back soon 😊
Women always treat their parents right 👏
Commendable my sister, keep it up.
Habiba nagode. Is bringing back a lot of memories.
