I love the Keltic or Celtic finds! I grew up on Larry Bird and the Boston Celtics. My dad liked them because they had white guys. I enjoyed Dr J also. Fun memories.
I just wanted to say how much I love your videos - so much fascinating information. I would love that Ancient British Coins book but I feel I need to find more celtic coins to justify its purchase!! Only found 1 silver celtic stater (Dobunni) so far. I've been detecting (mostly in Gloucestershire) for just over 3 years now & I also thoroughly enjoy the research side of things, it just brings it all to life. that field is huge , in he 18m there is what looks like a pick up truck in the background and it is minute, must be loads more in it but no doubt in hot patches.

The Imagery on these coins is mad and never ceases to make me smile - mad horses and bonkers geometric /Art Deco style designs way ahead of their time i think! 😁 You'll have to come further east to give yourself a better chance; the tribes over here were a little more productive on the money front!!! On the subject of those 2 deep/iffy signals you dug live: Yes, very interesting - and I noticed that both of them seemed to have an iron grunt, which was ever-so-slightly seperate from the high-pitch bleep! This is something I try to listen for on my own targets - and sure enough, those 2 of yours both seemed to have iron in the hole, which was 'seperate' from the main HC target... Honestly mate, that's really helpful to see/hear that you're having the same experience... Brilliant stuff, and thanks as ever 🙏🏻 Bobby 🐁

Love the William and Mary copper. I’ve found a decent tin one with the copper core but never knowingly found a copper. That’s special! That IA unit ain’t bad either 🎉

I have found a William and Mary farthing in quite good condition condition dated 1693. Thanks for your explanation because I was wondering why the detail is so pronounced on it.

Hi Christian - yes I think one is very worn but there does seem to be a lot of spot the difference with these coins - no two dies are the same it seems and that s why they never look exactly like the ones in the book - or rarely... hope all well and nice to hear from you!

@@steveshepherd2712 we get lots of buzzards and red kites are everywhere... close to extinction here til the early 80s when they were re-released and have become too successful really... kestrels and sparrowhaks quite common - merlins and hobbies less so but they are about - we don't get birds as colourful as you i'd love to see hummingbirds!!!!
