Funny. When I first heard her sing, back in 2018-2019, I thought she was 1) to be a sensation and make it big.2)people will think it’s Adele singing. I honestly thought that she sounded like Adele. I just pray for her that all of this fame and success will bring her to a closer walk to our Messiah. Also, like someone else noted, that her music will many unsaved to the saving grace of Yeshua. Pray she will bold and unashamed of standing up for and speaking or singing the truth in love.
I agree Lauren Daigle is amazing! The secular world of the music industry is the only thing that prevents her from having a consistent #1 multiple times on each of her albums. Many Christian artists face the same challenge. Personally, I have her head and shoulders above Adele (not to diminish Adele who is amazing)! If Adele is the bar Lauren is the ceiling! My opinion and my preference. I absolutely love her sound and her wholesome messages that can be shared with anyone without concern! Glad to see her trotting the globe! The entire world needs more Lauren! Beautiful music and encompasses a true Louisiana musical recipe! God clearly gifted her and she's sharing her gift!

She didn’t even get a chance to talk… so that would’ve been difficult, and the song lyrics go “the one who parted clouds of fire by night delivering the darkness to the light, oh he is with us as we ride on turbulent skies” PERSONALLY I don’t have any friends that part clouds of fire by night… she’s obviously talking about Jesus here in a fun song! Don’t be so quick to judge.

The one thing that I don't care for about her is that she always chooses a more mainstream song that does not mention the name of Jesus or God when she performs on a secular show. She has no problem performing songs of hers that mention the name of Jesus Christ when she performs at say the Dove awards or the K-Love fan awards. It just doesn't sit well with me.

I Agree. His Name is above every other name and is where the power is. Not using the name Jesus leaves a blank that the lost can just fill it in with whatever it means to them.

Gotta say, I loved hearing this without that weird techno thing at the beginning. LOL! That's just her voice slowed down, right? Don't get me wrong, I love when artists experiment in any way, with their natural voices, with their style or genre - whatever. And its not my favorite, but "technical tricks" can be fun and interesting. But this one particular element - didn't Taylor Swift do it on one of the Midnights tracks too? Just not a fan. This was a great performance!

Love the message, music, vocals of this song because we all go through turbulent sky moments in our lives and it's a reminder to trust Jesus through it all. 🙏🏻
The “male” singer is Lauren with her voice altered. Saw her live in Baton Rouge & she performed it with a special microphone for those sections.
Lauren, don’t play to the cameras, play to that audience in the studio, the camera will catch angles of you from the side etc as you do your thing, and that’s what draws the audience into the intensity of what you’re doing, but actively smiling and inviting them in the whole time is very American Idol.

Check out her Christmas music. It's great! She does all the classics without putting a weird spin on them. She does them the way most people are used to, but with a much better voice. She does christian music too. When I first heard her a few years back I thought she be a new and improved Amy Grant.

I have always loved Lauren daigle's music most of her music comes from her heart and you can tell love the song turbulent Skies but I don't think it was totally from her heart it's a little hard when it sounds more like jazz and seeing a painted face on Lauren Daigle was a little disappointed and this time in our lives where everything is upside down turbulent Skies is great but more from the heart would be a lot more forceful

She actually wrote this song seven years ago while on a flight with a lot of turbulence. I love how she used that experience to relate it to her relationship with the Lord, as He is always with us when life isn’t going as smoothly as we would like.
