    Im so thankfull for finding your videos. Im a man from Colombia/ South América. Suffering from CPPS. You re a beautiful human and your advice is so accurate. Please dont stop helping Men Suffering from this awful condition. Im an orthopaedic surgeon in my country and it has been so difficult to find someone to treat this.

    Thank you Dr. Bri. Your videos have helped me take control of my own health. I have not heard you mention Osteopathic Manipulative Treatments for this condition. I am exploring this option right now. Have you known this kind of treatment to be helpful for male pelvic pain?

    Very good advice. I am recovering but still have some problems. Physical therapy/stretching is the most helpful things you can do. I would also recommend a special diet for bladder/urinary pain to lower inflammation. Drinking water is also great advice but a good a lot of improvement from avoiding carbonated beverages of all types, artificial sweeteners, alcohol, and highly acidic stuff like vinegar, tomato juice, orange juice, lemon/lime juice and yes, even cranberry juice, Instead drink water, green tea (because low in caffeine), apple, peach, and mango juice. To lower sugar for these juices dilute with an equal amount or more of water. If i drink one diet mountain dew, for example, i would have to go to bed with extreme pain for 2 days. If you must drink alcohol, white wine is less problematic (red wine contains tannins) and/or light beer with low hop content but no more than one per day.

    Hi Doctor Bri, I have seen 2 doctors and they suggested to have the surgery for bladder prolapse; one uses the mesh and the second one uses your own skin. Which would you recommand. I am a senior person.
    Thank in advance for your advice. P/S: I watched one of your videos, and am very impressed of your work in helping people with these kind of problems. C.R.

      Hi Randy, thanks for getting in touch! I recommend doing more research about both options. Surgical mesh has been known to lead to complications in prolapse repair (in some cases, certainly not all), and so my initial reaction is that using your own tissue might be safer. However, one of the MOST IMPORTANT elements is your surgeon’s experience and comfort level with the method you choose. Don't be afraid to seek a second or third opinion to satisfy your concerns before committing in either direction, and move on to a different surgeon if you're not comfortable with his/her skill level, confidence level, or bedside manner.

    I had an inguinal hernia repair with mesh back in early 2018, about a month after surgery I started having urinary problems, pelvic/penis/lower back pain, since then I’ve had my bladder and prostate checked and doctors say all are fine, however I’m still having pain everyday!

      ...go to pt or optp.com to get stretchout strap accompanied by booklet of lower body stretches. While butt on wall, legs up wall, replicate as possible as many stretches as possible.

    Hi bri your are amazing so much good info .theres alot of info about oxalates in the diet are giving people pelivc pain prostatitis bowel problems urgency and groin pain what do you think

      Thanks Glyn, glad to hear that my info has been helpful! As for the oxalates, I know women with interstitial cystitis who have had great results with a low oxalate diet; it might be worth considering for your conditions, as well.

    Thank you so much for this. As a CPPs / prostatitis sufferer for years I appreciate the information. My symptoms have largely reduced to urinary / bladder sensetivity issues, as well as constant penile pain. I have a strange issue that has even when there is not much left in my bladder if something irritates it and I resist the urge to go I get a lot of pain, heat and cramping in the area around the bladder. Conversely, when I actually manage to fill my bladder to any significant degree my penile pain becomes severe.
    I am seeing a chronic LUT infection specialist in London who believes many CPPS issues are caused by intracellular infection that is masked by biofilms, making them hard to find on medical tests, and hard to penetrate with drugs. The only option available currently is long term antibiotics (see the documentary 'Why Am I Still Sick?' for details).

    same problem is faced by my father these days.. pain is not resolving after giving medications.. he had history of bph that is treated now.. but still is having pelvic area pain... may you please help... !!

    thank you for making a video on the stretches for relaxing the Pelvic floor. I have currently been battling with extreme Pelvic floor tightness for a long time, though Physio helps some, she just gives me a booklet with stretches to try. Seeing them done in real time helps a lot more. so thank you again

    I read that a Hypertonic Pelvic Floor is a TMS equivalent (google it/or go to TMSwiki). This explains why no one knows how to fix this and there are so many different reasons for its onset. I read about a guy who healed himself of this just by allowing repressed unconscious emotions to surface..that's it. The theory is that the brain is stopping the blood flow to muscles..to divert your attention away from what's going on in the subconscious.

      I had a operation to remove kidney stones and ended up with chronic pelvic pain syndrome. One urologist checked my prostate and said it was fine but the muscles around it were really tight! Another urologist said I have prostatitis chronic pelvic pain syndrome and there's nothing we can do it's poorly understood.😞 and now my doctor thinks I have hypotonic pelvic floor where the muscles are too tight. I have pain in my scrotum my bladder my anus my perineum my lower back my tail bone my hips. This condition is debilitating and in my experience doctors seem clueless when it comes to this condition! had this 9 months now😞

    Hey doctor I have Right thigh strain and left thigh spasm. and also I have Rhinitis which cause breathing problem. I will do surgery soon for the blocked nose. is my breathing problem causing frequent urination and Ed? or I have some pelvic problem too?

    Namaste Dr Bri, thank you so much for your videos. My husband has had some episodes of pelvic floor tension and doing your videos regularly has been great for us (I love them too). His pain has diminished significantly. However when he works out - he does suspension training (TRX) or abs - the area becomes sensitive again. We lead a healthy lifestyle and have always exercised. So I was wondering about how to strike a balance between relaxation and muscle strengthening. BTW, we have ruled out any other possible causes for this condition. Thank you so very much!

      You're so welcome! I'm glad you and your husband are enjoying them! As per your question, my initial thought is that there might be a way to "back off" of the TRX training (i.e. change body position and adjust the height of the suspension trainers, or decrease intensity be doing fewer reps/sets) so that he can still exercise but do so without the flare-up. So often, we (I include myself in this general statement) tend to be "all or nothing" when it comes to exercise plans and there might be a way to strike a balance by simply backing off, and then GRADUALLY progressing as he's able to workout without flare-ups. I'm curious to know if this helps, or if it's something you've already tried. it can take diligence and even some documentation to back off and then slowly progress... But it just might work!

      Thank you for your reply Dr Bri. After his first flare-ups, I guess we did instinctively back off, did your vids, but as he was pretty much pain-free, he began training harder and that led to a second flare-up this week. Though not as violent as the first one, I could tell he was quite uncomfortable. So we will take your advice and begin documenting his training sessions so we can share this information here with everybody. I'm by no means a health professional - just someone who values healthy living and exercises - but I have a feeling my husband has rather week abs. He has difficulties sitting in Staff Pose for example and he always wants to skip forward folds on your vids :) It would be interesting to hear, some time in the future, your thoughts on this, ie, the possible relation between abs/core weakness and pelvic floor tension. If I am right (and I could be totally wrong), it seems very tricky to strengthen the core w/o tensioning the pelvic floor. Thanks so much once again and we'll be sure to eat clean and move every day \O/

      It sounds like you're right on! Staff Pose is a surprisingly difficult move for the core, and yes, it's actually quite common to have a tense pelvic floor and weak core.     I've been told my prostate is fine but the muscles around it are really tense and its really painful! All started after having a kidney stone removed. Will this work for me?

    To me 22 years, I am ill or sick with Augusta of 13 year.
    In May last year, finally diagnosed with CPPS .. me, like many others,
    many doctors treated for non-existent uroinfectious diseases.
    Are you familiar with the following symptoms and what are their causes? Possible spasm
    Pear-shaped or internal locking muscle?
    Symptoms in the dominant role are caused and provoked by frictions and
    Successive ejaculations, more often on the right side of the body.
    Painful ejaculation, erasure of orgasm, pain with cold numbness,
    Goosebumps, in the penis, scrotum, all over the foot area to the feet, at the base
    Member and scrotum with the transition to the lone articulation and the inner part
    Hips, in the perineum, lower back, front behind the pelvic bones, buttocks,
    Rectal tenderness since the sphincter, especially after sexual
    Stress, imperative urge to urinate, painful filling
    Bladder after ejaculation, pause before urination (forced
    Relax) the lower abdomen's resistance to urination and
    Sperm surge, compressive stress in the lonelial articulation with transition to
    The inside of the thigh (as if twisted by a rope), muscle weakness
    Up to poor extension of the leg, instability of erection, anorgasmia,
    Pain in the armpits (often on the right)
    Before the illness had a tendency to overstrain the muscles of the groin, buttocks, bottom
    Stomach.
    At the time of my illness, I suffered from 9 months of cicatricial phimosis with balanoposthitis
    (Later he was circumcised), a nervous tic
    At the age of 9, he suffered a compression fracture of the spine in the thoracic department.
    In 16 years suffered measles.
    Excellent helps rectal massage (until the symptoms disappear and

    hi bri , thank you so much , the plevic floor stretch routine seems to be helping!!!! , this can be absolute agony for men as you know , is it ok to do 4 times a day? im very keen to heal this thing , it really can rule your life and beat you down when you try so many things and dont feel any relief , thanks again , really appreciate your compassion and efforts to helping others

      I'm so glad it's helping! As far as frequency, everyone will be different. While there will always be good days and bad, ups and downs, if you're noticing a general upward trajectory with a frequency of 4 times/day then it's probably okay for your body to stretch that often. But if it begins to aggravate your symptoms, then decrease frequency. You may also benefit from more frequent visualization of the "Pelvic Drop" or simply breathing deeply (down into your pelvic floor/perineum area). This would certainly be quicker and less of a hassle then donig the full stretching routine multiple times per day.     The pain will travel into or rite next to my testicle and scrotum
    Then it will move into leg or pelvic area , but area and sometimes knees
    It’s really weird it’s like electricity or ache and I’ve had it For years
    Deep belly breathing and foam roller will ACTUALLY take the pain away but eventually cone back
    It’s like certain muscles are sub conscious tightening up
    Guys I feel your pain
    Also Psoas is always stiff
    Theirs hope guys some men have got out of this and I’m getting close 👍

    I like all video mam, my problem start 2 year before all day motercycle ride 110 km after some time my back pain issue then urethera burrning and urine frequently urge,all urine report negtive, ultrasound report negetive,semen analysis negetive my urologist tretment start cronic prostities and advice me some streching after one year take all medicine but not relief, but my pelvic floor muscles not pain,plg advice me whts the problem?🙏

      Hi Vishal, So, we cannot give you medical advice, but I can say that many men experience urination frequency and burning (even if there is not pelvic pain), and this can still be classified under CPPS or chronic non-bacterial prostatitis.       I can't make any guarantees, but I can say that my relaxation techniques have been helpful for many people with CPPS.
