Had a whole nest of Tree Swallows in the backyard a few years ago...the late evening was always fun watching them dart around catching moths and mosquitos. Bruce and Otis
They really are, each in their own way! I'm going to start working on a volume III soon. I have wood ducks, mountain bluebirds, and hooded mergansers to share still!!!
I loved seeing that too. I have some better footage of northern flicker parents feeding their three young. So fascinating to watch!! Thank you for your comment!!
Marvellous footage of such majestic birds. I can only imagine what great equipment you have and the time you have spent waiting behind bushes for great shots then all the editing. Had a feast!
Man, you really put in the work. Thanks so much. 😉
My pleasure! It's been a long time in the making filming all this. I hope to have a volume III eventually!
The Buffleheads looked like they were on a conveyer belt 😂
I really enjoyed all the beautiful birds and sounds, such peaceful nature 😊❤
I love them all too! I hope to see and film more this summer!
I like the idea of a bufflehead conveyor belt haha

Thank you so much! I have much more in the works and I'm pretty sure there'll be a volume III of PNW birds!

Great work, the Barn Swallows are having a challenge these days > 8
I wasn't aware of that. I presume it's a problem with finding suitable nesting areas because of us people? Thank you for the comment!

Yes, beautiful 🙂
Thank you Petr!
Is a sapsucker a type of woodpecker? We dont have them down here.
Oh interesting! Yes, they are woodpeckers and we have 4 kinds here - red breasted, red naped, yellow bellied, and Williamson's!
I can see why they would call it the yellow headed black bird
Yeah, it had to be!
